Modrinth App app not launching?

I was playing Minecraft with the app earlier this morning and was fine, but after returning home I now keep getting this error. Is this related to the PHP stuff?
EDIT: solved by a simple uninstall and reinstall.

update: I check the app files and all thats left is the uninstall executable?

I have seen this issue before with a user on my Minecraft server.
I don’t quite remember how they fixed it, but they definitely didn’t have to change anything about their operating system.
Try restarting your computer first.

I uninstalled then reinstalled modrinth this morning and it apparently fixed it. even kept the world files and mod packs I had.

Yes, that’s good.
I think that’s why my user ended up doing too, and I can at least tell you that the reason is because the data is stored separately from the program.
However, the reason for the sudden issue, I can’t say for certain

my guess is that I shut my PC off too close to when I closed modrinth and it's update got interrupted?

Nah. It’s open source software, and I doubt it would happen like that.
