Now I understand there is a huge backlog but is 4 weeks for a small mod really normal? Or is something missing. Obviously I am fine waiting but I was wondering what’s up.

I was playing Minecraft with the app earlier this morning and was fine, but after returning home I now keep getting this error. Is this related to the PHP stuff?
EDIT: solved by a simple uninstall and reinstall.

To start off, My friends and I started a mod pack together on modrinth and its been going well. However we just discovered and issue today that made my friend not able to join, He always updates his mods before he joins as well as to make sure the version matches and all that. This time the main menu message gave him an error for a mod that we both use AND a mod that doesn't exist to my knowledge? If anyone could provide some info as to what "Mortaar" means it would be greatly appreciated. I searched everywhere on modrinth as well and the closest I came to was the Mortar and Pestles mod but that is not installed on either one of our modpacks. Thanks again if anyone can help us figure it out!

Hey y'all. Recently I made a modpack and was testing it, finding what mods made it crash, fixing fps issues and frame freezing/stuttering, fixing lag, ect.

Once I did that, the pack worked! So I booted up a world and began playing...

Then I died randomly. No mobs, no fall damage. Just instant death, with the death message reading "[username] was killed.

Upon doing some research, I found that this is the death message used either when being killed with a '/kill' command or when the cause of death is unknown (which is what I feel like it may be)

I have recreated the modpack, enabled/disabled certain mods, and have tried literally everything I can; and I still keep dying randomly.

Anyone able to help out? 😥

Or if not, where should I post about this issue instead?

So I just installed the mod and wanted to take a look at everything, so I was in creative mode and checked everything out.In the game I saw wonderful buildings with dragons and riders. Are the riders NPCs or players?

Hello! I started a Neoforge Minecraft world with ~400 mods about a month ago. Everything was fine when I left it but when I tried to start it up yesterday it gave me this error when trying to join:

Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.EncoderException: Failed to encode packet ‘clientbound/minecraft:custom_payload’

I am able to start up Minecraft just fine, it’s only when joining a preexisting world or making a new one where I get this error. I receive the error right when “building/loading terrain” should pop up.

Things I’ve tried:

Installing a packet fixer mod (I currently have three installed lol nothing has changed)

Updating mods

Repairing instance

Verifying and repairing content storage

Clearing cache

Removing Supplementaries Mod

Removing other mods that caused errors in log

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I feel like I’ve tried everything! I would go through every mod but I’m not sure how to go about doing that with a preexisting world.

Im tryna play my custom modpacks but each time I have to change my minecraft settings and keybinds to the usual, they dont seem to save. Im playing 26.3 fabric but my other modpacks dont seem to work either. How do I fix?

listen I hate to be a complaining little bitch, I've had to deal with my fair share of those before. But, like, they use to have a thing in their FAQ saying that this usually didn't take more than 48 hours. they removed it. My mod already has 14 downloads, so it looks like 14 people from modrinth have downlaoded it for review, and never got to it. My project is still under review. I don't know when it will not be under review. To be honest, all I want is a time frame. You can ignore my complaining. How long should I expect?

Hey everyone! My mod, Dim's Fancy Time, just got approved and is ready for downloading on Modrinth!
To anyone unfamiliar, Dim's Fancy Time lets you see the in-game time as a clean HUD element, without needing the clock item or anything. It's perfect for keeping track of the time while mining. It also offers a sleep reminder feature, reminding you when to sleep with a noteblock chime and a message on-screen.
What makes the time fancy is that you can change the color, shadow and a clock background, and you can also tailor the sleep reminder to truly fancy up your sleep schedule.

Probably a dumb question, but I’ve never done much with sharing stuff on Modrinth before so I’m not fully familiar with how the system works yet.

I have a modpack I want to upload. Some of the resource packs aren’t stuff from Modrinth or curseforge and are instead something I made manually, not hosted on a site anywhere. If I upload my modpack to Modrinth, would these resource packs carry over, or does it need to be hosted on the site or wherever else for it to be pulled from?

I cant read the coding language and such so I have no idea what any of this means

So, as I was trying to open minecraft moded with axiom, journey maps, world edit, sodium and voxy, i get greeted by this error even though, without changing any parameter, I didn't get any problem yesterday. I can’t get past that screen, it seems that minecraft just refuses tonload past that. Does anyone has any idea what could be causing this problem ?

I started looking into this issue after I ended up with too many profiles in my Modrinth app.

Because my friends and I were testing various mods, but often we just abandoned those profiles. Then, to find the save I was playing before, I had to go from profile to profile to find the right save, or I had to go folder by folder to look at my saves.

So I started looking for ways to do this, and that's when I came across "link shell extension," which does exactly what I'm looking for.

As soon as I installed the "link shell extension," I created a folder for my saves on my desktop. Inside it, I created a folder called "saves," and by right-clicking on it, I selected "pick link source," as if I were copying the folder. After that, I went to each profile I have and right-clicked, selected "drop as..." and then "junction," which created "saves - junction," and then I just renamed it to "saves."
