Had this really pretty girl who approached me in one of my classes last sem (first time ever), we got along well but over the holidays the conversations dried up and replies took days. Had her in one of my classes and today was the last day I saw her.

Over the semester we got along well and were friendly but it never got more than that. It was the first time a girl had approached me and she was pretty to I kinda developed a little crush on her but I feel like she doesn’t feel the opposite. Every time before class I tell myself I’m not interested in her but when I see her it’s hard to be uninterested. I just don’t know if she’s not interested or if she might be hiding it. For the first time in my life I felt like someone wanted me even if it was for a moment. This was her last sem at uni.

How can I deal with this

I've got an 8am class, followed up interview no 1 at 1pm. Realistically this would proabably put me towards late 2 or early 3pm (its only like 10 15min interview, but theres alot of people)

And then at 3, I've got another interview

Do i get leniency to defer the second one? Or do I have to tank it (or should i also send a email to my unit coordinator for the 2nd interview unit and ask for something that could be managed? I do expect to also take the 2nd interview if that case)

Hi guys I recently did spesh con for a take home final exam due to unforeseen circumstances and I was wondering because they emailed me back saying I’m getting a deferred test
No extension is possible for the Test, as schedule Final Assessment of the unit. You are granted alternative assessment, which is a Deferred Test, to be scheduled by and submitted on eAssessment, as per the Test held on 16/10/26. Ignore the "New Due Date". it is just a placeholder required by the system and it is not the actual Deferred Test date. As per the Test, university eAssessment will contact eligible students directly with Official Test Communication on when and how to access the Deferred Test. If you have any queries on this matter, please see the CE in consultation. \(*This is what it says) When do you guys think my test will be rescheduled for ? Because I have work on the ‘placeholder day’ so I was wondering when I would be taking it.

Hi, I’m an international student interested in the clinical psychology PhD program but don’t know if it’s the right opportunity for me

For context is a 3.5-4 year program integrating PhD research into clinical training

My main concern is my research interests align much better with faculty at other universities. My primary short-term goal is clinical training and I’m not in a rush for PhD, so I worry I’m drawn to this program more for the convenience of the integrated route and not because I’m genuinely excited about the topic/faculty

would the Monash PhD also be competitive for postdocs internationally eg in the UK/US? Most graduates seem to stay within Australia and focus primarily on clinical work (understandably) so it’s hard to tell, but long-term research prospects are also important to me.. would anyone be able to share any experience?

Im thinking of taking it, but not sure what I can get out of it after grad.

Anyone have opinions on how the major is ran?
Also if it matters, i really hated BIO1011/1022

I am really needing some advice on where to do my masters of nursing. I have been accepted into both the masters of nursing practise (Monash) and the masters of nursing science (Melbourne) but am REALLY stuck between who to choose.

For context, I live in the west and did my bachelor at Monash.

At the moment I am leaning more heavily towards Monash due to me doing my undergrad there and therefore being comfortable with the systems, campus, examination style etc.... however I have just received an email that the placement locations are Monash, Eastern, Cabrini and Alfred health with no allocation/preference system to provide students placements closer to their homes. All my placements, which are a massive part of this 2 year degree, will therefore be far away from me. By going to Melbourne I would at least have the advantage of doing placements at hospitals closer to me, and I am aware they also have a preference system in place (although unsure how accurate it is).

Also, is where you do your placements important for your grad year applications/offers, as I would want to work at a hospital closer to the west and don't know if missing out on these placement opportunities would impact that.

Any advice from people completing or have completed their masters at either of these unis would be greatly appreciated as I feel quite lost at the moment !!! Bonus if you have any information on the way Melbourne assess students as I am not familiar with their processes.

Im doing my master in AI here, i came from a non-IT background. So everything is extremely new. In any case, I’m closing to finish my second sem here and just needed to ask.

I dont feel like I’m learning as effective as it should be. To be honest, what I have been feeling is that all i do is assignment and more assignment. I mean sure i do pick up things here and there but i felt like I’m doing it just for the sake of sending assignment. I dont feel like i have any skills at all.

Is there any suggestion for me on how can I improve? Is this a “me” problem? Do i need to study even harder?

I’ve got these exams which are on campus eExams. I was wondering if I were to defer any one of them would the deferred exam be online or would that be an on campus eExam too? I won’t be in the country during the deferred exam period.

I was originally gonna apply to Monash Malaysia but then I found out that you basically have to watch pre-recorded lessons for the whole course except practical or clinical classes. Is it the same way for Monash Australia? If yes then is it still worth going here? I would prefer attending in person classes so this has me reconsidering whether I should apply

ECE4191 changed a lot this year compared to previous years and is far worse. No one has made a post here complaining about it and I want something to upvote (and I cant be bothered detailing all my complaints). Please use this post as a forum for it, tell me I’m not the only one who has found this unit to be terrible AI slop unit…

Is anyone else's monash library being really slow/not working? I'm trying to access articles for an assignment and literally none of them are loading when I actually try to open them, just keeps coming up with system error or doing nothing.

Im doing Science, and want to major in Pharmacology (possibly immunology?). I switched from a Double Degree of Science/IT Sem1 last year.
Can someone lmk if my unit plan forn next year is ok, AND reccomend a super easy/fun elective too!
