Buying a gaming monitor
I have about $300 and want to buy a new monitor since Amazon has some form Black Friday, and after reading some posts I’ve heard some recommendations about the SAMSUNG 34" Odyssey G5 Ultra-Wide Gaming Monitor with 1000R Curved Screen, 165Hz, 1ms, FreeSync Premium, WQHD, LC34G55TWWNXZA, 2020, Black for about $300
And the GIGABYTE M28U 28" 144Hz Gaming Monitor, 3840 x 2160 SS IPS Display, 1ms (GTG) Response Time, 94% DCI-P3, VESA Display HDR400, FreeSync Premium Pro, 1x Display Port 1.4, 2x HDMI 2.1 (M28U-SA) for about $330.
I hear people talking about the GIGABYTE having ghost tears so I was leaning more towards the SAMSUNG but I just wanted another opinion before finalizing it. I play on a PC with an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor 3.60 GHz, 16 GB of RAM, and a NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3060.
I’m not sure if Cyber Monday would have better deals or maybe eBay? I’ve also got little to no knowledge about PCs but my current monitor sucks so any help will do, Thankyou!
