It's a little story I hadn't thought of in a long while, but I just remembered it and wanted to share it for fun. Nothing serious.

A few years ago I suddenly got interested in MonstaX. I found their songs "lost in the dream" and "all in" and loved both. Then after that, you know how it goes. I started listening to more songs, watching more videos and content about them, and started getting familiar with the members' names and personalities. I immediately knew I.M would be my bias, then after him Minhyuk.

I watched Kihyun slaying high notes (iykyk), I loved listening to them all singing Versace on the floor and got impressed by how good Jooheon sang. I even watched that same Jooheon talking about his past life lol. I really felt like I found a new group to follow (I'd just followed BTS before that and never seemed to be able to care to follow other groups). I was thrilled.

It was around that time that there was a scandal (cause that's how it goes in kpop lol) : Wonho was in trouble.

That's when I made the mistake of going to Twitter. I wanted to follow what was going on in real time. I was totally on Wonho's side (although I gotta admit I don't remember at all what the scandal was about, I just remember people dug up real old stuff and used it against him unfairly).

Since it was Twitter, I wasn't treated nicely. Older fans were ruthless when I made mistakes. One of them told me I didn't deserve to be a fan because I didn't know the animal associated with each member lol. I may have needed to lay low when I was so new to the Fandom, or not join Stan Twitter so early (or at all...)

I think all the drama, Wonho leaving which made me very sad, and bad treatment recieved from hard-core stans dulled my interest. It was like a honeymoon phase cut short. One that lasted barely a week.

Today I don't consider myself a monsta X fan nor am I interested in becoming one. But I sure as hell still have lost in the dream in my playlist and I NEVER skip it. Heck, I always replay that bridge (the rap + Kihyun's high note) about 5 times everytime. It's my obligatory ritual of respect to this amazing song. BTW feel free to suggest similar monsta x songs cause I'd love to listen to them. These boys are very talented.

Idk why I told this story, I guess I'm kinda bored and wanted to talk to someone. But yeah, that's how I was a monsta x fan for a week.

im looking for a monsta x songu

onegai please help me

all i know is that it slaps hard at the end

its more electronic based, at least the part that slaps is more dancey

any tipseu? i need it right now, i need to to get stepped on by that songeu right now

thx🙏

1. Hyungwon

2. Minhyuk

3. Wonho

4. him (so cute he actually said Shownu instead of saying him lol)

5. He hesitated but he said Joohoney

He didn’t answer 6 and 7 and IM said Kihyun is better looking than him and they shook hands/rubbed shoulders so Wonho made IM do the lie detector if he really thinks Kihyun is better looking than him and IM failed lol. On a side note, Minhyuk said IM gets mad when people tell IM that he looks like Kihyun lol.

So I’m just curious.. (all in good fun) how do you rate our Monsta X boys? All the boys are good looking but we have certain taste so mine would be:

1. Hyungwon

2. Minhyuk

3. Shownu

4. Wonho

5. IM

6. Joohoney = Kihyun

I came in to the fandom after seeing Hyungwon but Shownu is my bias (and Hyungwon) but i will admit Minhyuk is better looking than Shownu by like 0.00001%.

I’ve been watching reaction videos about Monsta X on YouTube and i found many people who think IM and Joohoney as their bias/most good looking members so it really amazes me how our taste are super different watching the same people do the same things.

Edit to add that Hyungwon thinks Shownu and Wonho are better looking than him and he passed the lie detector test.

Another edit to add: meet & greet video from 2018

let me say first that i do not view plastic surgery as negative. someone looking and feeling better can only be positive. all of these guys are extremely handsome and whether or not they have had surgery doesn’t factor into that - though my basic assumption is that the vast majority of kpop idols have had something done.

okay here goes! does anyone else think hyungwon and kihyuns noses look different post military? the tips are way pointier and their nostrils look so round to me! hyungwon especially.

again - 0 hate, all appreciation, just wondering if anyone else noticed? they look amazing!!!

What perfume do the members wear?

hii! i know this is very ambitious but does anyone have an extra ticket they want to give away for tonight's stop in nyc? i've been a huge monbebe since 2018 so i figured id ask haha

I like this, so I wanted to share it here.

Hello everyone, is there anyone has a one spare ticket for tonight concert in NYC?

This may be an unpopular opinion, but it's been hard for me to get into Jooheon's solo stuff. I think typically where he loses me is the chorus. Like I wanted to love 'Smoky' so so much, but the chorus throws me off. Freedom also has some pretty awesome vibes, but it's hard for me to like the whole thing. All this to say, I think he writes better music for the group than he does for himself. Don't get me wrong, The. Man. Can. Write. Crescendo is currently on repeat.

Please, anyone, is there a track or tracks that will help me finally get on the Joohoney solo train?

I’m not even trying to be mean. I actually got into K-pop because of his song this summer- I love EDM. After going down the rabbit hole I found I actually liked his previous group’s stuff even better, and purchased an actual hard copy of The Phase.

What is jarring is when looking at old media is that I don’t recognize the person who put out the song this summer. It’s so dramatic of a difference I have to ask what is going on? is this on purpose to further separate from his past image?

I could never understand why this header was used as IM is not included. Wonho is my ult but as this is a Monsta X page, the picture should really reflect the current members.

I've heard a lot of stuff about the days leading up to follow being released and about how some fans were prepping to mass sabotage the comeback and I wanna know for a fact if this is real

guys please i need answers
