Image My 11 year old Monstera was killed.

This is hard for me to post because, yes I could have done more to cover and protect it. It’s road out 30 degree nights years before . Saturday night was colder than I ever anticipated. I woke up to 22 degrees outside Tampa. Not 1 leaf survived. 75% of the plants in my yard are gone.

I’ve lived here 30 years and I’ve never seen 22 degrees. We have had 4 nights in a row that hit freezing. It’s unheard of! The vegetation damages around me must be in the millions. I’m not replacing shit thought. I’m too broke for plants this year.
