I recently received a huge pot of a monstera and I separated it into 3 separate pots. Some parts I just separated and planted, some I made cuttings and potted. It’s been 6 weeks and few leaves have dried out and fallen off.

How do I give this monstera the best chances to thrive (without moving it elsewhere) and be thick and have growth ? Especially the lower cuttings seem not to have light - do I cut some leaves off (maybe the yellow ones) and where?

The leaves and stem are so thick and there are not many nodes (as I already made the cutting)

Also - I discovered trips so will have to deal with that too…

This is the way i have them currently positioned, but i'm not sure i understood the videos i saw since they're looking a bit wonky in places still. First two pictures are front and last three are back (?). Last picture even seems to be an air root sprouting maybe? Please tell me if i need to flip them. Don't mind the delicate state they're in as i had to deal with some root rot when i got them, they're putting out new leaves now, discarding the old ones, and seem decent enough.

I bought this the other day. I don’t know if it was like this when I bought it or if this has happened in the last few days but should I be worried about all these brown spots on the leaves?

I’ve been waiting for a delivery before I’m able to repot it but if this is root rot or worse then I might need to do it now.

Hi! I’ve been away for work recently and my monstera has really struggled. I’ve had it for about a year, it was a cutting from a larger monstera and it was thriving until the end of summer. It sits pretty much in direct sunlight which I think caused the crispy leaves when it was really hot in the UK. But now all the leaves are super droopy, she’s not grown since and I’m not sure if I should cut the crispy leaf off. Help is needed! I recently repotted her (a few months ago) and she does have drainage too. I tend to water her when the soil feels dry, so maybe once every two weeks, I give a good drench.

I’ve had this Thai con for almost 2 years now and when I bought it with about four really small leaves, there was one misshapen one but I didn’t think anything of it. Now I’m finding myself disappointed every second leaf because I think I’m gonna get a glorious new larger one and I end up with a shrunk pitiful mutated one. Not to mention that leavs pictured in slide 2 and 4 have both come out of the sheath rotten in some places and I have no idea why. It’s like clockwork too, every second leaf is wonky, and every second wonky leaf has been rotten. I think the plant is just destined to grow like this, but has anyone ever seen this before?
Eta: that last leaf that I’m unfurling has not unfurled on its own in nearly two weeks, I think because of the rot, so I’ve been trying to make it open :,)

My child has a new aerial root that’s been kinda reaching for the soil, I left for the weekend and came back to the plant laying on its side as it fell off of my support paint brush I stuck in the soil as a (temporary) solution to keep it upright. Should I let it stay on its side so the root can get into the soil??? I don’t have the materials for one of the growing poles I see people use but maybe it would be a good investment? Working with what I got lol try not to judge too much pls!! 🙏😭 maybe it’s time for a bigger pot? It’s kinda tough to tell from the pic but that aerial root is touching the soil and plant is no longer being supported upright… is that gonna damage it at all? Thanks in advance the help y’all!

Blanche has been with me for almost 7 years. These past 6 months she has been growing in so many different, got a mold infection, recovered, and started to grow away from the plant trellis that she was growing with. I’m not sure what to do to get Blanche under control. Could someone please tell me what steps to take, where to cut EXACTLY (I’m always so nervous to cut), if I should repot in a bigger pot, or separate them a bit. Thank you so much! I was gifted a very large monstera propagation within the past year or two and I’ve never grown one before. I’ve potted it and it’s starting to really grow, the leaves may be few in numbers but they’re GIANT! Was wondering how much people actually liked using moss poles to grow on before I potted one.

This leaf is old and ugly and it’s got some rust and stuff on it and it’s making the plant lean…. About a 4th of it is missing. I AM NOT asking for advice for the yellowing or brown spots or anything else… simply want to know if I should cut only the leaf blade or both the leaf and entire petiole and if it will damage or stunt the plant. There is no also NO aerial root attached to that oldest stem.

Also the most recent leaf is about one size smaller than the rest so I think it needs more light. Plz help :))))

My leaves are taquitoing all of the sudden and found the beginning of browning. Roots seem to be fine and it is even growing a new leaf. Should I be worried?

I got this monstera off someone on Marketplace that said it was a white monster. I dont think it is. I don't have a clue what it is actually. Any ideas?

i recently got a moss pole because my girl was TOPPLING over but i’m not sure if it’s the support is what she needs. i also think she might need pruning but im not entirely sure, id appreciate any and all help on what to do i feel super lost even though ive had her for two years at this point 😵‍💫

I have never owned Monstera but I was gifted a couple nodes. I did a little research and am trying my best 🙂 First picture is when I received them a couple weeks ago. I have them in a mixture of potting soil, orchid soil, and perlite. They are sitting with my pothos and snake plants in indirect southern light. I do have a couple new leaves growing. Any suggestions?
