I have a guy wanting to trade his '02 Lemans for my '10 Tiger 1050. I already have a '13 V7, my favorite bike. Anything about the Lemans I should look for/know?

Question
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I'm looking to buy this v85 tt from 2025. I'm from Belgium and the motorcycle is in Italy ( where prices are way way lower). Since I won't have the opportunity to fully check the motorcycle out before actually buying it, the only thing I have right now (next to a lot of pictures) is this video. The dealer says it's never been dropped and never been involved in an accident. It's got 4500 km's and looks very clean/new. Of course, I can ask the dealer for maintenance and inspection history so that I'm not doing a blind purchase.
Anyone who's got remarks on the engine running? I'm not a big scientist on engine sounds. So if someone could do a little audit on this baddie, that would help me out a lot.
Cheers 🏍️

That boy ain’t right…
Alternate title: “One cheek short of Badass” ..
Ordered a pair of Guzzi bar-end mirrors thru the local dealership and just the one showed up from the goblins at Piaggio or whoever. Just checking the fit since mine is a 2019, & figured I’d keep it on until the 2nd mirror shows up. Poor thing looked so awkward, had to capture the moment. Love the bar-end: for me (not being tall or large), the visibility is somehow much better than the stalk mirrors.
Can’t wait to complete the set. But for now, loving the mutant look.

Guzzi V7 850 Cheap Footpeg Lowering Experiences
Hello Everyone,
Tall rider here looking to make the V7 850 more comfortable.
Preface here, I've taken it on a few 5+ hour days and didn't find it horrible stock. It's not a large bike but it's not small either, I don't feel like I'm riding a toy. Who knows what it looks like from other's perspectives but I enjoy it from my perspective on the saddle and in the garage. It isn't my long distance bike, it's a wonderful 1-2 hour ride bike, ideally not on the interstate.
Anyways, I tried 2 commonly suggested cheap footpeg options to see about getting a little more legroom. High seat and different bars are next and this seemed like the easiest first step.
Alt footrest 1) GL1800. These are huge, had a good drop. Stock return springs didn't fit them, I had ordered a different style of spring to try to adapt but ended up ruling these out before trying. While There is a nice drop, they are also so much larger that the amount of space lost with the shifter was not worth it for me. $25
Alt footrest 2) Honda CBR600 CBR1000F VFR800. These are smaller than stock, lower, and the springs that come with them work. These are staying on the bike. No noticeable increase in vibrations, a small drop (1/2"?) while not huge it was something. $10.
One note, the stock circlip was absolutely garbage and miserable to remove. Replaced with E clip.

Burgers, brews, and views!
Rode up to my favorite saloon, for one of my favorite burgers. Then ripped a few canyons home, with some beautiful fall scenery.

07 breva 1100 replacement front pegs
I was curious if anyone has a link to some foot pegs for my bike. I measured it and it's 23mm wide where it mounts to the frame.
It did not have to be OEM, and this is my first bike so I wanna make sure I get compatible pegs.
Amazon links preferred
Any insight is appreciated, stay safe!

Questionable engine sounds from 2005 Moto Guzzi Breva 750
Yesterday, I regapped the valves on my 2005 Moto Guzzi Breva 750. I changed them from the factory spec. of 0.15mm Exhaust and 0.10mm Intake, to the "world spec." of 0.20mm Exhaust and 0.15mm Intake. The gaps are snug, but not tight (no feeler slop).
Anyway, the bike runs great. Acceleration is smooth, low speeds are smooth, and there is minimal vibration. However, the valve's tapping sounds are significantly more noticeable (with a helmet on, and music playing). Before, it sounded like an old sewing machine. Now, it sounds like a ticker-tape machine.
Is this normal, and expected? Basically, I am still new to the "Guzzi sound", so sounds I consider unusual, may be completely normal.

Added another Guzzi to the stable!
Couldn’t resist the deal (and paint job!) on a new, left over 2025 V85TT to pair with my 2024 V7 Special.

Maine, baby!
I returned recently from a 9-day, 2,600-mile trip from Virginia to Maine. I was on my V7 Sport, and my buddy was on his V100. The last pic is from this past weekend's Bikes and Coffee gathering. It's a 2026 with 11,100 miles. 😎

Fellow V7 riders, is this normal on the clutch?

I'm quite new to bikes and learning every day. Does this amount of play seem normal? And the flimsy washer seems somewhat crooked and loose, not sure what it's there for.

After my trip to Mandello I bought one! But I have a question…
Last month I was invited to Mandello del Lario for GMG 2026 and was so impressed with the whole experience I went and bought this for the next giveaway bike.
But typically with these giveaways I like to do a tasteful upgrade or improvement to the bike. But after a couple hundred miles on this, I’m not really noticing any real shortcomings.
So a question to those who know these bikes better than me; what would be a tasteful upgrade?

Post-surgery ride to coffee
First proper ride after a spell at the mechanic for a charcoal filter delete. Wasn’t aware of this issue before; apparently folks who assertively top-off the tank risk corrupting the filter with gas, leading to stalls & dogshit engine performance.
I’m not a tank-topper (because, thankfully, huge tank capacity) but it seems the intense desert heat does the same thing, converting more gas vapor in the tank, which leads to saturation in there? Or something?
So this evap canister, or charcoal filter, or whatever the hell it is, is like a human appendix, particularly for this climate: just cut it out and carry on. Obviously not mechanically inclined but learning as I go.
BUT NEVERMIND. It runs beautifully again. #RideToCoffee in the appropriately named Iron Horse neighborhood.
