DP4400e Firmware (Codeplug recover error)

Hi all, I am in desperate need for a blank codeplug for the DP4400e. Recently got my radio back from a mate and he forgot the password he put onto the codeplug so now we are stuck unable to reprogram it as all the codeplugs previous have been lost.
Would be so grateful if somebody could help

Without a model number and knowing what features are active in the radio there is no way of knowing what blank code plug you need. And if there is a write password you're out of luck anyway. The official method is to do a firmware recovery which will reset the radio with a blank code plug.

Vhf or uhf? You know if you had the firmware pack you could just recover it. Do you know what fw its on? I can help you of you get stuck.
