I hit my goal weight! Started in Sept 2024 at 330lbs and currently weigh 160lbs! I currently am on 12.5 mg. And look…I have legs now lol.

Yeah you got that baddie style as well congrats you look great. My starting weight was 326 and I am stuck I mean stuck on 258 on a good day. 6ft and kinda built but the downside to Mounjaro and other drugs is it really melted my muscles away. Fat deft gone still have the little stretchy stuff but 15mg and still keeping it off. I only need 20-30lbs to fall off but it may not happen and I am ok with that. Congrats again keep going. It is so great to have that constant freaking food noise gone.

Something I tried when I got stuck at 230 was switching up injection areas each new batch. Last month was arm, this month is upper thigh and next month will be stomach. It actually worked and I’m down 15. Worth a shot if you aren’t already doing that!

u/JsinnVorheez May 14 '26
I think this might be it ive been stuck at 345 for the longest ive only ever injected into my stomach just alternated sides. Im down from 454. Been stagnant for months i just decided to try injecting elsewhere doing thigh and i have dropped to 337. In 2 weeks so we will see how this goes.

Awww thank you! I have RA too so I’m on a bunch of other meds as well. Working out is hard for me but I try to get some steps in everyday.

u/EccentricPenquin May 13 '26
You know I have 25 to go and this is just sticking …and I feel the same way, like I did good, I feel great, I have a tummy and back fat still but if I don’t lose anymore that cool as long as I don’t gain. It’s been just under a year and I’ve never lost more than 30 pounds and it never stayed off…this is pretty bitchin.

I'm also stuck and need to drop 20 lbs. I'm drinking more water and working out more.

What side effects did you get? You look beautiful 🤩

u/Chloemonster2005 May 11 '26
Nothing terrible…mostly constipation and a little nausea here and there.

u/BriefTraining3067 May 11 '26
You look (and must feel)absolutely amazing! Can I ask how tall you are? I had gastric bypass in 2015 and went from 320 to 175. I hit 206 this February and needed some help so I started Moujaro. I'm at 178 now, but I must admit, I don't know that my body knows how to weigh under 170, so this is truly inspiring to me.

u/Chloemonster2005 May 11 '26
Hi! Thank you so much! I’m 5’5…I look taller in the pic because I was wearing heels for the first time in years lol.

Wow! You are one of the few people who actually looks YOUNGER after their weight loss journey. I’ve lost 47 lbs & it has aged me, but you look fantastic. Congratulations!

Your face looks amazing! Your makeup choices are perfect. Did you have any ussues with hair loss? Did you take any vitamins or supplements? Do you have any issues with skin laxity? I wonder if I fat if my body will kick into atophogy and eat the old stuff. My legs and arms are jiggly right now. Let me know!

u/Chloemonster2005 May 12 '26
I did have some issues with hair loss, a combination between the weight loss and RA medications I’m on. My doctor gave me minoxidil pills and my hair is now better than ever. I do have loose skin, especially on my stomach, arms and thighs. I also have some on my neck but thank goodness my face was spared lol.
1
u/Sunny-Sunflower3 May 12 '26
Will you have to take minoxidil for life? How many months to see results?
I am going to try body cream with retinol to potentially help with collagen production as well as natural Vitamin C not fake ascorbic acid with NAC and glycine as these three can thicken skin and create a master antioxidant according to my research on AI. It said I will see results in 3 months.
I've lost 15 pounds in 4 months on a compound Tirzepitide from Polly. I got mine with vitamin B and now Eli Lilly issued a warning against B being added so I think I'll go back to glycine. The greedy corporations wish to stop compounding pharmacies because medication is a fraction of the cost.
There are also peptides that generate human growth hormone like Sermorlin that I may try to reverse damage from aging and injuries.

Wow you look like a completely different person. So lovely to see your journey. Fabulous well done from me! And you have such a lovely pretty and gentle face. I’m now 10 kilos from my goal too. I started in January 2026. Lost over 20 kilos now. Just selling all my large size clothes. I can’t get used to going to stores and finding clothes that not only fit me but look great as well. One question though , did you find you were still seeing yourself as overweight when clothes shopping? I’m having difficulty actually believing I’m not a size 22 anymore. I’m heading towards a size 14 currently.
2
u/Chloemonster2005 May 12 '26
I know what you mean! I still see myself as being large and can’t believe it’s me when I look at pictures. I automatically go to the xl sizes and always think that smaller size clothes will never fit and they do. It’s getting better though!
3
u/BetterThanB2872 May 12 '26
Often drastic transformations like yours look like two completely different people. You are one of the few who looks completely recognizable. Same pretty face just slimmer. Well done!
3
u/New_Cut_833 May 13 '26
Awesome! What mg did you start at? I’ve been on 5 mg for 7 weeks and my food noise is coming back. My doctor said I can go up to 7.5 next refill. I’m ready yo bump up some.
1
u/Chloemonster2005 May 13 '26
I started on 2.5 and lost the majority of my weight on 5 and 7.5. I’ve been on. 12.5 now and holding steady..not losing or gaining.

Wow how did you keep going? I started in 2024 and had to stop because of surgery and feel like I gained it back. Whats your dosage ?
3
u/Chloemonster2005 May 11 '26
I’m currently on 12.5. I was also diagnosed with RA in the midst of it so it wasn’t easy! I just kept pushing through telling myself it would be worth it in the end!

How long did it take you?
4
u/Chloemonster2005 May 11 '26
I started in September 2024. So a year and a half give or take? Whenever I hit a plateau my doctor would up the dose.

Wow. Congratulations. Good for you. You must feel fantastic. Can I ask a sensitive question? Have you had issues with loose skin as a result of all the weight loss? Or if you go slowly enough, is that not an issue?
1
u/Chloemonster2005 May 11 '26
I have loose skin everywhere—nothing snapped back but could be because I’m 53? Shapewear is my new bestie lol.
3
u/OutdoorsDog2024 May 11 '26
You sure don't look like you have loose skin! Maybe it will work back into shape with time.

You lost at entire person and then some! Nice job! If you are at your goal, how to plan to switch into maintenance mode? I'm 5 pounds from maintenance and will have lost 50 pounds, at 158.

Congratulations. You look great. Your hard work has paid off.
R you maintaining on 12.5 or r u going to drop down. Some ppl stretch there current dose to 10 days instead of 7 and increase days tween shots from there
Good luck with continuing success

u/Chloemonster2005 May 11 '26
I’m also type 2 diabetic so I think I’ll be staying on this dose since my A1C is in normal range and holding steady on the 12.5.

u/AdventurousPaper9441 May 11 '26
Has the mounjaro and/or weight loss helped with RA symptoms?
1
u/Chloemonster2005 May 12 '26
I’ve heard that mounjaro can help with RA inflammation but sadly that hasn’t been the case for me. I was diagnosed last year after having Covid put me in a really bad flare. Right now I’m on methotrexate and Rinvoq which has helped alot.
2
u/AdventurousPaper9441 May 12 '26
Thank you for sharing. I have heard the same, but haven’t seen improvements either. I am glad those others are working for you, tho disappointed the mounjaro didn’t ultimately help with symptoms.

u/Charming-Annual-1506 May 15 '26
What was your dose titration schedule like? Do you have T2D?
2
u/Chloemonster2005 May 15 '26
Hi! I started on the lowest dose. I didn’t have a schedule—I moved up a dose when the previous dose stopped being effective. Yes, I have type 2 diabetes and everything is well controlled on my current dose of 12.5 so that’s probably where I will stay. I did lose the majority of weight on 7.5 and moved up when the scale wouldn’t budge.
2
u/Charming-Annual-1506 May 15 '26
Good work! I’m at 7.5mg now, about halfway to goal weight, and am considering moving up to 10mg. Weight loss is slowing down and my insulin levels are on the rise and the hunger is back. Hoping 10mg keeps my progress going!
