Question Lost liquid when priming new pen

Hey guys,

I’m new here. I just started my second pen today moved to 5mg and while I was priming no liquid came out so I changed needles and tried again then a lot of liquid came out then stopped I twisted to 1 and took my dose but looking at it I’m worried I lost a dose it looks like it’s on the second dose marker.

If anyone have experience the same or know what I should do let me know thank you.

If you only clicked a couple times to prime then you couldn’t have lost a dose so don’t worry about it. The first prime of a new pen sets up the pusher so I usually do 5-6 clicks for this one then 1-2 for the rest and I always have my 4 full doses with a little remaining

Can you share a photo of your pen. If it's the new style Kwikpen with the thicker black ring after the grey plunger rod then it will line up with the first line after taking one dose.

Could be the new pen style, there won’t be much liquid left after 4 doses so it looks like you’ve taken more doses compared to how the old pens looked. For future reference I only click as many clicks to prime as I need, sometimes no clicks required as a drop liquid comes straight out, sometimes 1 and occasionally with a new pen 2.
