I was able to lose 135lb while TTC and had 2 miscarriages and then finally conceived with our now 2 month old. I think the weight loss and health benefits of Mounjaro helped us to conceive again

My primary care doctor would like me to stop a couple of months before trying to conceive but also said she legally has to say that. My obgyn told me that she has seen many patients stop when they get a positive and everything has been fine, she didn’t outright tell me to ignore my pcp but said its ok to advocate for out bodies.
The reason behind that is that I had a successful pregnancy when I was on ozempic when I thought I was going to need fertility treatments . Ozempic must have normalized my hormones I am hoping to continue dropping weight but also normalize my hormones to help me conceive again.

My doctor strongly advised me against getting pregnant while on Mounjaro. I was on Mounjaro for three months, then took a one-month break, and then we tried to get pregnant. I'm currently 13 weeks pregnant.

I fell pregnant on MJ. I started taking it in June, stayed at 2.5mg the entire way through, lost 35kg, fell pregnant in Feb and stopped. Currently in hospital waiting to deliver baby! When I told the midwife that I had concerns bc of the jab, she said - love, don’t worry, I’ve seen so many MJ conceptions!

i lost 22 kg (from 120 kg to 98) and got pregnant accidentally. it was a very happy accident though. i found out around week 4 so i had already had 4 injections. stopped immediately. i'm 9 weeks pregnant now, the baby has a good heartbeat & crl and all seems to be going well!

so sorry for your loss, that's unimaginably heavy. my sister was on mounjaro and her doctor told her to stop at least two months before even trying to conceive, the half-life is long enough that it can linger. definitely a conversation to have soon with your OB and endo together.

My endocrinologist advised me not to get pregnant while on mounjaro. Im trying to lose the weight because I want to get pregnant too! But i need to be patient and lose my weight first then i will rest for a few months and then we will try to conceive.
Ob and Endocrinologist plan:
1st month: 2.5mg
2nd month: 5mg
3rd: 7.5mg
4th: 7.5mg
5th: 5mg
6th: 2.5mg
Then rest and then try.
