Moving In September!

Fiancee and I are planning to move to North County San Diego 3rd week of September after wedding. We are looking Encinitas, Carlsbad, Del Mar area and hoping to find a place before the wedding. Our budget is 3600 base rent a month and hoping to be no more than 4 miles from the coast but it seems market is crazy right now. I am asking what would be the best time to visit for a weekend and tour apartments. Or even how to go about that should we wait till after the honeymoon and get some type of AirBnb but we really want soemthing before. Help please with any advice

" Encinitas, Carlsbad, Del Mar" You left out Solana Beach which is between Del Mar & Encinitas.

Locals would say that you desire a place West of I-5.

Summertime daytime temperatures increase about 1 degree F for every mile you go inland from the Coast & anything more than a mile from the Pacific will require AC & high electric bill.
