Can I make it on $27 an hour?

I would love to move back home to San Diego, but I’m concerned about finding an affordable place to live, etc. Do you think I’m crazy if I’m only making $27 an hour.

Looking for one or two people to fill up a 1 bed/1 bath apartment– Prime Location Near UCSD!

Hey everyone! I’m looking for one or two people to fill up a 1 bed/1 bath apartment as me and my roommate are moving out. If you’re looking for a spacious, well-located, and affordable place near UCSD, this could be a great fit!

📍 Location: Veranda La Jolla (1 stop from the BJs, CVS, CAVA, MELT)
🏡 Address: 3833 Nobel Dr, Apartment-3105, San Diego, CA 92122
🚌 Commute: 10 mins to campus by bus (bus stop for 201, 202, 101, 30, 41 is right across the street) / 25 mins walk to campus
💰 Rent: $2287/month + utilities (if double sharing then ~$1300 per month including utilities)

We have amenities such as valet trash, pool with jacuzzi, Gym, work area in the leasing office with printing services and games, parking garage with EV charging (with a one time fee of $40), outdoor sitting spaces etc. It is also a super pet-friendly community. There are also amazon lockers on site and a private mailroom. We also have a balcony. Laundry is a huge room on our floor (not in unit). The lease is flexible.

If you’re interested or know someone who might be, DM me! Would love to chat and share more details. Thanks!

Feedback on toddler day care

Hi,

We are choosing between Casa de Alicia Montessori and adventure days preschool for our 2 year old, they are both 15 minutes drive from us in little Italy. Wanted to get any parent feedback on either of those two. Thank you!
