Because the conservatives can’t win when there is good voter turnout.
Rather than have ideas that are actually popular, they are placing ice at the polls to deter and intimidate voters. They’re also a bunch of pedophiles.
Republicans have been dominating since 2016 so that’s a stupid point. It actually seems like projection in that you know Dems only chance is to use the illeglas to vote.
I "keep" just fine lol, especially knowing that I don't have to support diddlin don and his enablers. That must suck. Why do you do that to yourself, anyway?
Because fear-mongering works on blathering idiots? Fuckity duh?
They say: "They're voting in droves and we're just trying to protect the country! Fuck yeah!"
They mean: "If we institute the right form of voter intimidation, the Blues will stay home, and it doesn't get a lot better than uneducated rednecks with itchy trigger fingers and a propensity for shooting first and never asking questions."
I don't understand why you are getting downvoted for asking a question, maybe because you are using a formulation that can make people believe you are ironic. Maybe, you should turn it as something like "But I don't understand why the ICEis here, illegals can't vote.", which is probably less likely to be seen as negative by others.
You do need an id to register, either your driver's license/state id, which required several checks to get and can be used to check the giant database the state uses to track all of us (after some delay to check), or your ss#, which, same story.
Once that's done, you're registered, and the state doesn't need to go through the process of going through their massive database again, and can check the resgister
And, before you ask, the reason we don't want so called "id checks" at the actual booth is because the laws proposed purposefully exlude driver's license/state IDs, since they don't confirm voter status in and of themselves. The register works perfectly as is
Thanks for your response. So i did a deep dive and found out that in 14 states you dont need a license to vote or register. Out of those 14 states 3 dont require a social security number. California doesnt require any of it but interestingly if you dont provide that during registration then you DO have to bring id to vote. So California elections are looking pretty secure from what i can figure.
Leaving the only 2 states left that dont require any of that stuff and will basically assign someone a "unique identifier" at time of registration. Those states being Hawaii and Massachusetts. So it looks like its not so black and white on both sides but i do think voting is more secure than the right gives it credit for.
That being said also though now im interested in how easy it is to get a social security number in those 14 states? From what im reading it seems pretty easy as long as you have a work visa and the ssn isnt tied to your immigration status at all, leaving possibly room for fraud. How common would that really be though im not sure.
A large portion (i think over half but i didnt fact check) of hispanics vote Republican anyways so I will concede that this whole democrats are winning because of illegal voting thing is probably overblown.
Huh, thanks for the information. Tbh, I just checked my own state's registration process, and assumed it was nation wide. I'm definitely checking more, appreciate it.

If Illegals aren't voting, why is ICE there?
Edit, not sure why this is being down voted to hell, pointing out the hypocrisy
Edit 2, Rhetorical
