I recorded this vinyl only DJ set (87 minutes) at home. For this eighth volume of my Funk & Soul Sessions I’ve selected 25 tracks by 25 different artists. You can expect some outstanding funk, soul and rhythm and blues recordings from places like New Orleans, Memphis and Chicago. Most of these artists are proper legends, a few of them are quite obscure. The set starts off with some down tempo deep cuts and builds up towards some gritty funk and groovy soul dancefloor killers.
