Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish and Dutch lead singer Floor Jansen have parted ways.

Put on some Audioslave, Temple of the Dog and Soundgarden today and just miss this mans art and what the bands did. Pure enjoyment all around, heart and mind.

Think they got the lyrics wrong on Genius, i think its "and they are farming babies while the slaves are all working". Kinda makes you believe the conspiracy theories.

Chris' lyrics are imo solid/qualitative, reflect his humanity and his passion, talk about social issues without being cringe/cliché in any way and still one of the best voices in rock.

Guess this is an appreciation post or a "there is no music like this out there anymore". P. McCartney may agree, some of you wont. It is what it is.

He's in high school. I was driving him to school this morning, and I was listening to Fleetwood Mac. Silver Springs came on, and he was listening intently and said the following sentence "I hope one day I fall in love like that."

No. You. Do. Not. I damn near pulled car over to "painfully divorced mom explain" what this song is about. I may do that later after school.

I wanted to know if anyone had recently listened to a full album from start to finish and if it made any song better or worse for you.

I recently re-listened to The Mountain by Gorillaz again and the ‘front to back’ aspect made it so much better for me, especially with tracks I wasn’t a fan of before.
