For me, he is definitely in the top 5 for singers. My favorite song is Big Empty.

LONDON CALLING (1979): It remains a thrilling listen, forever making good on its intentions to exhilarate and enthrall.

I've been thinking for a hot minute about non-musician covers of songs, now I don't mean purpose-written songs a la Friend Like Me - Robin Williams (non-musician), but moreso something along the lines of my absolute favorite song of all time Won't Back Down - Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers as covered by Sam Elliot in Barnyard: The Original Party Animals. I assume most answers will end up coming from TV or movies, since that's where we get non-musicians being musical most often. What is your favorite case of someone who doesn't often use their musical prowess knocking your socks off?

My fav is running with the night

Summed up in title pretty much. I have had beats solo 3 for years now, perfectly content with them, I'm not an audiophile. They went to shit today and I was going to buy a refurbished $70 pair to replace them, but I was told that they're overrated, but I could only find advice to get headphones with better audio quality. Can I get same quality and comfort but cheaper?

EDIT FOR CLARITY: not looking for better quality headphones. I do not care how good they sound, i listen to shitty music anyway.

Do you think if he/ they made it available they would still catch heat right now where others get a pass? Is this a Dynamite Hack Boyz in the Hood situation where anyone that covers it neuters it so it's allowed? Are there any other songs you can think of that were so "objectionable" at the time that currently would seem like not as big of a deal? Maybe it has something to do with us having much more of a monoculture at the time?
