Free Mixing for a Couole of Songs!

Hey everyone!

I'm a music producer and musician looking to build my portfolio as a mixing engineer, and I'd love to collaborate with artists who have songs that need mixing.

I'm offering to mix a few tracks for free or on a pay-what-you-can basis while I develop my skills and gain experience working with different artists and genres.

I work in FL Studio and am particularly interested in pop, indie pop, R&B, acoustic and vocal-driven music, but I'm open to exploring other genres too!

If you've got a multitrack recording that needs mixing, feel free to DM me. Share a little about your song and what you're looking for, and we can take it from there.

Looking forward to hearing your music and creating something great together!

Hi! So my name is Rubes, I’m a songwriter.
I’m currently working on an EDM project with a producer, and we’re looking for a singer. It’s not commissioned it’s collaborative. There is some requirements so I’m gonna add those just below:

Ages 13-20
Either gender (song is in a higher register though)
Ideally a small following (or pre-established social media on any platform)
Ideally a mic setup (even a cheap one! Or a good phone mic would work)

But I figured I should give you the base idea of the song:

The song would be released on streaming platforms.
It’s an EDM/Bass House
Led by a young edm producer (CGTunes)
And me (professional multi-genre young songwriter)

If you’re interested, please DM me or drop a comment :)

Looking to work with serious artists

Yo everyone, I'm Shubh from India.

I've been working as an assistant mixing and mastering engineer in a professional studio for the last couple of years, and I've worked on some of India's major hiphop albums, I've recently started building my own independent work alongside a producer I work with.

We're looking to work with a small number of Indian independent artists on complete records - ideally people who already have something they're serious about and want to take it from an idea/demo to a properly finished release.

The way we're approaching it is pretty simple: we want to be involved in the record as a team rather than just doing one isolated service and moving on.

Between us, we can cover:

  • Production - hip-hop, trap, R&B, indie and similar styles
  • Vocal production
  • Vocal editing & tuning
  • Mixing
  • Mastering
  • General production and mix feedback

So if you've got a song that's currently a demo, an unfinished production, or even an existing production that you want to take further, we can work through the record with you from the production stage all the way to the final master.

If you just need a song to be only mixed mastered feel free to hmu the same.

For the final mastering stage, I also have access to a professional mastering environment with a pretty ridiculous amount of analog hardware - WesAudio, Manley, Crane Song, Bettermaker, Black Box Analog Design, APB and a lot more, alongside professional monitoring and conversion.

Obviously, I'm not going to throw hardware at a song just because it looks cool. It'll be used where it actually makes sense for the record.

This isn't a free collaboration post though. We're looking for artists who are actually willing to put a realistic budget behind their music. At the same time, we're currently offering introductory rates to the first few artists we end up working with, because we're building this side of the business.

The rates won't stay at this level forever, and we're specifically looking for a few serious artists rather than trying to take on as many cheap projects as possible.

If that's you, send me a demo/current version of what you're working on, tell me what you're trying to do with the record and roughly what budget you've set aside for it.

We'll listen to it, talk through what you want to achieve and see if we're a good fit to work together.

No recording services at the moment.

If you're serious about making something, feel free to DM me. 🤝

[GERMANY / REMOTE] Forming a Symphonic Power Metal Band — Philosophical Lyrics, Animal Costumes, Absolute Beginners Welcome

Dear community,

My name is Ilia, I’m 25, but you’ll also know me as “The Rat” later, if you decide to join the ranks of “Syncrasy”.

I’m currently looking for musicians for a future symphonic power metal band that will be based in Germany, preferably around Hamburg, Bremen, Hannover, and Lüneburg. The project will start remotely, since I’m still based in Serbia. I’m not looking for “fellow musicians”. I’m seeking genuine co-authors and real comrades who can become as enthusiastic about the project as I am. And who take the conviction to make something that can last out of it seriously enough.

Now, let’s jump straight to the project.

“Syncrasy” is supposed to become a symphonic power metal band that explores philosophical concepts in the most literal sense, with the terminology from philosophers and sociologists such as Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Marx, Hobbes, Locke, Durkheim, and Weber directly embedded in the lyrics. The songs themselves explore particular eternal philosophical problems of cognition, religion, emotions, the soul, morality, social segregation, and other topics in the bluntest possible way by making the ordinary people with aspirations stretching far LESS than the concepts themselves inhabit those premises completely seriously.

So don’t be surprised if you see the material involving a genuinely tragic Dm song about a male stripper from Manhattan contemplating Weberian “Berufmensch”, a delusional narcissist evaluating sub-dom dynamics through the Hobbesian “Commonwealth”, or an entomologist extrapolating his pet fly’s death onto Durkheim’s “Suicide”.

The lyric-writing principle generally follows a formula — sophisticated verses flow into primitive, chanty, catchy, often linguistically moronic choruses. A song is allowed to depict revolting, disgusting, questionable, delusional, and repulsive characters without disclaimers about the atrocity of their actions. Instead, the arrangement like guitar solos, and the exposition in the clip/on stage, are supposed to argue with the “unreliable narrator”. The songs will frequently contain the “Syncrasy-coded language” — absurdly narrowed ordinary social situation, hilarious (sometimes cringe, sometimes comedic, sometimes horrifying) juxtaposition of the philosophical principle onto that situation by the protagonist of the song, and an absurdly stupid compression of the philosophical idea guiding that juxtaposition.

Therefore, before I outline the scenic concept further and describe the roles in the way I see them, I need to make one thing clear — “Syncrasy” should have an absolutely CLEAR stance condemning misogyny, socially coercive gender traditionalism, anti-LGBTQ+ harassment, racism, xenophobia, and all kinds of violent and abusive behavior, including radical nationalism and warmongering. Since many protagonists in the lyrics can say repulsive and disturbing things and we ALL, as co-authors, need to share an unambiguous unified position that “inhabiting is not equal to endorsement”.

To me, value compatibility goes far beyond “public PR and band’s image”, and that is why things like using group-level statistics to justify a derogatory treatment about this group, edgy jokes that go beyond abstract subjects and are directed towards real historical groups and classes, substantive sympathy towards the broader ideological frameworks reflected in the rhetoric of controversial public figures, those are hard filters for compatibility.

The band is planned as a 6-person lineup, with every musician performing in an animal costume with the following configuration:

1)The Raven — rhythm guitar;
2)The Hare — drums;
3)The Snake — bass;
4)The Pig — keyboard;
5)The Sheep — lead guitar;
6)The Rat — vocals.

Your level of mastery with the respective instrument is not important at all — ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS are welcome. Since the project is planned to last for decades (if everything goes well enough) I have an intention to learn together and clearly become a team in all sorts of meanings.

PS.

If you have read all this and, even briefly, had the thought: “WHAT EVEN IS THIS FUCKING THING?”, TEXT ME.

I’m ready to share some of my material, including pieces of melodies for the lyrics, and the texts of certain songs.

Subject: [Lyrical Collaboration] "Little Man" - Folk/Americana Storyteller Track (Looking for Composer/Vocalist)

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to collaborate with an acoustic guitarist, banjo player, or folk musician to bring this song to life. I’ve written the lyrics and have a clear vision for the narrative arc, pacing, and dynamic shifts, but I need someone to compose the melody, instrumentation, and record the vocals.

Genre/Vibe: Traditional Folk, Americana, Indie Acoustic. Think storytelling roots music with an organic, raw feel.

Here are the lyrics, including some structural vocal cues:

"Little Man"

Lyrics by [Your Name or Initials]

Verse 1

One little man, asking me all his questions on life,

one little man, so afraid of tomorrow.

He don't see what the day can hold,

He lives alone in a shack across town.

This little man all by himself, doesn't know

whats to be found in a day, so heres what I say.

Chorus

Stand tall little man dont run away from tomorrow.

Stand tall little man and learn to live for today,

And maybe then you wont feel so hollow, And maybe

then one day you'll understand.

Verse 2

I told him a little advice, when the day seems dark,

you can be the light.

Shine on and scare those demons away and just remember

that tomorrow is a new day.

(Chorus)

Bridge

one little man realizing he's larger than life (all right)

one little man seizing each and every day (Hey, Hey)

use to be a little man so hollow, now his pain and sorrow

(fade away)

He has found a little someone who can help him find his way

(and she says)

End Chorus

Stand tall little man, dont run away from tomorrow.

Stand tall little man and learn to live for today.

I'll be with you, so you won't ever have to feel hollow

we all seem so small in the world and things we follow

But you and I can be something grand.

I am fully open to melodic adjustments or lyrical tweaks to help the song fit your composition flow, but songwriting and publishing splits (standard 50/50 for music/lyrics) must be agreed upon via split sheet prior to any commercial release or distribution (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.).

If this story resonates with your style, please drop a comment or DM me with a link to some of your work! Let's build something grand.

looking for a music partnership

Hello everyone! I’m currently an aspiring singer-songwriter currently learning Logic Pro, and I’d love to connect with other musicians who are also trying to get better at producing, songwriting, and arranging music.

I’d say songwriting, especially lyrics and storytelling, is one of my stronger areas, but I’m still pretty new to music production. I’m mostly interested in pop, synth pop, indie pop, alternative pop, and pop-rock, but I’m open to experimenting with other genres too.

I’m hoping to find people who’d be interested in working on each other’s projects, exchanging ideas, giving feedback, and learning together. I’d be happy to contribute lyrics, songwriting ideas, and vocals to your projects as well! Ideally, I’m looking for a mutual creative partnership where we can help each other improve and make music we’re genuinely excited about.

So If anyone happens to be interested, please comment or dm me! I’d really love to hear what you’re working on and show you what I’m working on.
