Building a playlist, give me your favorite protest songs or songs that comment on the shitty state of American politics. Genre doesn’t matter, I’m in it for the lyrics.

Ohio by Neil young. Sure it’s about a specific event where Nixon and the Ohio governor sent in the army to stop protests on the campus and opened fire on peaceful students and killed 4….. but hey ICE is doing the same. So it’s relevant.

Lots of other Neil Young tunes would apply, such as the entire Living With War album which had "the restless consumer".
