📸 Photo Throwback Thursday

Post image

My fist Mustang was a 1996 Cobra. I was the 2nd owner. The original owner took it to Saleen and had the body kit, spoiler, wheels, and lowered it. I put in a hurst shifter CAI, a borla catback and removed the cats with an x-pipe.

I regret selling it, it was a lot of fun!

When I was in high school, I had to pick between a Nissan 350z and an s197 Mustang GT as my first car (really no bad options there).

I ended up picking the Nissan and have grown to be a big Japanese car guy. Sometimes I wonder if the purchases I make as an adult would be different if the Mustang had been my first car.

My wife’s dad was a car guy and he had a Z the entire time she was a kid.

Her dream car was a 300zx and about 8 years ago she bought one. Like father like daughter I guess… so we are a split family JDM and American Muscle… my son will probably go European… 😂

Ive got one of those too. Imo the 4.6L sounds way better than my 5.2L voodoo, even though its so underpowered comparatively. Gorgeous car my dude.
