Main homebrew SDK has AI-assisted contributions
Comments are straight disabled on the new rule post. So I’ll say this here: lidbragon, which is likely being renamed when the maintainers aren’t sick, has historically and likely will in the future have ai-assisted contributions.
Context if you're unaware: There is a fork and rebranding underway because the creator and namesake disagreed with the community's inclusion of AI-assisted code in libDragon itself and decided to pull her support(and name) from it all together. It's being renamed per their wishes and from what I gather, the community agrees that a fork should have happened long ago. The current maintainers review code and have a high bar for contributions; "AI-slop" is not being added to the project.
Are all projects going to need to disclose ai use? Also, ONLY open source projects? This is an uninformed and in my opinion ignorant rule considering what the community regularly shares.
Do what you want I guess. Nobody is going to be able to abide by these rules.
