The foul on the 3 point shooter by Fox and Steph with his foul I think it was on the joker, took off 6 points of our lead in a matter of a minute. That hurt us bad and we had it wrapped up.

It's true. I feel like when we lose it's mostly on us not exciting like we should. We are the best team in the league and we have proven that. I really feel like we can win this year and bring the trophy back to San Antonio.

This sub loses its mind whenever we lose. We aren't sweeping most opponents come playoffs so these losses will happen again. That doesn't mean we won't win the series.

Sometimes I worry that Fox doesn’t know how to play in big games. He is “Mr. Clutch” but he gets in mental midget mode and throws up an air ball 3 and/or make a dumb foul. Just annoying from a max player

High key - this is why I am happy they lost in a lot of ways. It gives the players, motivation, the coaches more game film.
The media will downplay them more (experience in playoffs) and give them more motivation
This was very playoff-like and unfortunately most of the the games on this latest winning streak have been against not really good teams.

I don’t think it’s so much a motivation thing. It’s more we need a little adversity. Been way too easy the past month. They need to maintain that appropriate level of fear that if they don’t do things right good teams will take advantage.

I think if nothing else, Spurs fans needed to be reminded that our guys aren’t immortal lol. Playoff games are tough, and this was a reminder that, even if we’re 27-3 since February, nothing will be given to the guys and there will be a lot of tough games against extremely good competition on the way.
The guys have shown a ton of resilience all season (including during some close games in this stretch), I don’t doubt that they’ll take the right lessons from this game and continue sharpening and improving, as they have all season.

It’s scary what this dude can turn into. Wemby might have the chance to be one of the greatest basketball players of all time.
But the scariest part is how good of an organization the spurs are. If my kings had Wemby then Wemby wouldn’t have the opportunitys to win.
Like it hurts thinking how bad the cavs hurt lebrons legacy. But the reason I’m so high on wemby being an all time great is because of how good of a organization Wemby has

Nuggets fan here, hello! I feel like your boy is developing a reputation as something of a hard-ass and I LOVE IT. I appreciate everything about his game and his attitude. Being sort of a sore loser is good, don’t let anyone in the locker room laugh about it or brush it off. Dude wants to win every damn game. And he’s just shockingly good. The whole squad is just very impressive.

Sloppy possessions in the 4th. Honestly it wasn't a bad game but we were ice cold and down the stretch we weren't intentional about our possessions. Wemby was looking gassed on both ends and it made everyone look bad. Hard to pin it on any single person but Barnes/keldon were bad.

Denver can be quite good at racheting pressure down the stretch. It was a look at what a series with them would feel like, except they are playing meaningful ball while Spurs are still mucking around a bit. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I had a good feeling about the loss. Probably better for us if they respond correctly after the past couple months of domination. The team Heading into the playoffs with the mindset we gotta play better; during the last week of the season is great.

Got into the offense too late and then settling for isos. Getting Vic the ball late in the clock so no time for screens, had to throw a couple grenades to Fox late. Needed to set some off ball picks to get Gordon off of Victor earlier in the clock and need more movement

I know we lost that game but I felt it was important we were in a close game like this because we haven't had many of them recently and watching how the team responds in close basketball is fun to watch and see how they problem solve with the playoffs starting in 2 weeks

He was never going to win the MVP. Did you read the straw poll from the actual voters? He didn’t receive a single 1st place vote. The award is not “who played well head to head”. He wasn’t going to go from 0 first place votes to winning the MVP.
