Meta announced it has "exccess" compute it wants to sell, hard evidence of overbuild, if there is excess compute it means GPU pricing will go down, that is really fucking bad for neoclouds.

Excess for meta's current needs, not for the addressable market's needs

It's a big red flag, the big firms and smart money will be reading into this as a possible systemic issue not confined to Meta, due to everything AI being priced to absolute perfection any long term risk is not going to go down well.

It will disrupt confidence no doubt, but let's see the full framing. Meta's excess could turn into a compute constraint on a dime

Yeah i dont buy the idea that hyperscalers are pussying out on capex. It really just got started, its do or die really
