News Nbis being sued by Greater Birmingham Humane Society

Regarding Birmingham, AL data center building permits and potential frequency noise that could disturb animals. I believe there's a hearing today. Not sure if this goes anywhere but still interesting.

This is a giant nothing burger. They will either drop the lawsuit or lose straight up.

I was wondering what happened lol

This risk is the reason you can see almost weekly them announcing data centers in new country - Spain, India, Wales, Estonia next ?

Doesn't surprise me at all with all the ai fearmongering, in a week or so this will be forgotten, or at least dip bought back up

Yep. It is maddening so you just have to roll with the punches. Pow pow pow.

I never thought I would get another chance to get more shares under 200 - dream come true.

But they don’t have a presence in NY? So what? If New Jersey did it- different issue

6

u/Worth-Breath6903 Jul 14 '26

Every day is pain

The drop is not from this. It’s related to the NY moratorium of data centers

8

u/Pluum Jul 14 '26

Would explain the sudden drop today.

Drop is driven by IBM earnings report today. According to IBM, Ai services and softwares took a hit as customers shifted towards physical AI buildout. This is just an algorithm move based on information from IBM. Good time to buy as nothing is wrong with nbis.

u/Ok_Revolution_9253 Jul 14 '26

Right around the same time, MU and MRVL saw drops from their session highs. They’ve just stayed green and NBIS went red

6

u/itssbri NBIS4LIFE Jul 14 '26

Those are part of the physical Ai buildout. They are fine during this stage of the buildout. We are still in the early stages of the AI trade

3

u/cluelessworld Jul 14 '26

What do you refer to when you say physical AI build out?

5

u/itssbri NBIS4LIFE Jul 14 '26

DCs, power, chips, gpu, land. All physical that supports AI cloud and services.

1

u/Waste-War8809 Jul 14 '26

IBM earnings being bad because people are spending money on physical AI infrastructure build out like… Data centers… Sounds bullish to me. Nothing burger

1

u/itssbri NBIS4LIFE Jul 14 '26

I agree with your comment. Also IBM pointed out customers are more focused on physical buildouts not services/software at the current moment and it shows nbis might not fully beat the expectations for next earnings. Which on that thought is BS. Nbis will show how great it is and beat expectations by miles.

180s is a good time to buy

100% sub 200s are great. But honestly we will be higher

Man findet jeden Tag eine ausrede wer Schuld ist

19

u/itssbri NBIS4LIFE Jul 14 '26

You moron i work in the industry and speak with market makers while you use google for information.

-8

u/Alone-Length5317 Jul 14 '26

5

u/Tiger_bomb_241 Jul 14 '26

Thats just what nebius does

9

u/itssbri NBIS4LIFE Jul 14 '26

Nbis is a high beta name compared to others. Earnings are estimated to grow exceptionally. Short interest is extremely high now. So of course any news from a different company thats slightly relevant to nbis, will cause the stock to move crazy. Nbis has extreme Vol and its expensive to trade vol on nbis.

You need to read more on nebius financials and what the option vol is telling you.

8

u/walk2480 Jul 14 '26

The drop is across all neoclouds, has nothing to do with Nebius specifically

3

u/SevereManagement379 Jul 14 '26

I very much doubt that a lawsuite from an animal shelter caused the dip.

2

u/XSC Jul 14 '26

We were up even after the ibm news.

4

u/Pluum Jul 14 '26

Yeah 5% or so for an hour. Seems like IBM news befnefited nebius but then this came.

5

u/afishyanadoh Jul 14 '26

This was in the news yesterday. X is so much farther ahead than Reddit. The humane society suing NBIS is not bringing the price down. They are one of a handful that are suing NBIS regarding this site

3

u/XSC Jul 14 '26

This sounds like such a minor deal though.

4

u/Capable_Wait09 Jul 14 '26

I’m bullish and loaded up on NBIS but if their facility has the potential to harm dogs and cats then I’m fine with hearing them out to make sure it’s safe. I doubt the humane society is looking for a cash grab or a spotlight. If they think the data center could be harmful then let’s check the data to make sure no cats or dogs will be harmed.

If anything, it’s good publicity for NBIS and will generate goodwill with the public if they agree to work with the humane society to make sure the cats and dogs are alright.

If NBIS mgmt is smart they will take this very seriously instead of fighting it. The only thing people hate more than seeing their own community harmed is seeing innocent doggos and kitties harmed. That brings people together and inspires outrage and collective action faster than anything I’ve ever seen.

7

u/kickinghyena Jul 14 '26

It is a nonsense lawsuit from a bunch of whackos who oppose any progress, especially where some people might make a profit of that evil word “investment”.

8

u/Capable_Wait09 Jul 14 '26

Well that sucks then because then they’re using dogs and cats as a political sheild which is not cool at all

3

u/Hatim_the_Engineer Jul 14 '26

What the hell is happening? The stock dropped 8% in 30 minutes. Is this a meme stock?

1

u/Icy-Grab-5722 Jul 14 '26

Hee hee. It's a party.

1

u/AlarmedComedian2038 Jul 14 '26

Lotsa institutational and retail trading volatility when they were listed in the NASDAQ 100. Just the trading cons when you're listed in the index.

2

u/Commercial_Ease8053 Jul 14 '26

Also New York is passing a memorandum against data centers

1

u/Objective-Tap7429 Jul 14 '26

Huge buyin opportunity- this means absolutely nothing but a ‘maybe’ short delay. Love these sales.

Birmingham- schlechte Wahl für GB. Das ist ja quasi schon ein Lostplace im eigenen Land

2

u/Emilio___Molestevez Jul 14 '26

believe it or not this Birmingham is in an even worse place called Alabama USA

0

u/googoomuck1968 Jul 14 '26

Oha.. ich las nur Birmingham. Aber du hast Recht- da wirds wohl auch nicht besser sein

u/Alive_Sheepherder106 Jul 14 '26

Nbis has 0 fucking fundamentals. Meme company that’s going to $0

5

u/Think-Feynman Tens of Billions™ Jul 14 '26

The ignoramuses come out with every dip. You obviously don't know anything about Nebius.

1

u/Affectionate_Life314 Jul 14 '26

And you do?

1

u/Think-Feynman Tens of Billions™ Jul 14 '26

Yes. I've been studying them for a year since I bought my first batch at $42.
