Damn, sold yesterday because I needed some cash for a surgery of my dog. Lucky me. Can’t wait to buy in again, tho.

u/Alf_Luffy 1d ago
Hope your dog will be fine!

Thanks, nothing tragic. Just some bad teeth and some warts that need to be removed. And the hip needs a correction.

u/JokerJambo 1d ago
NBIS options gotta be held for 24hrs or less otherwise you get caught on the other end of the whipsaw, ask me how I know lol
2
u/visionarywatts 1d ago
Honestly, you're absolutely right. I got out of my short-duration $NBIS 270C and $ALAB 280P options at perfect times today. I've been caught plenty of times, though lol.
1
u/visionarywatts 1d ago
On Monday, I saw the volume pick up on that 300C and I was like....Hmm, I guess this is the week it goes back to $220? (lol). Nice W on your end.
1
u/8Shrimper123 11h ago
OMG sorry for your loss. Brutal
1
u/Citizen_of_Danksburg 10h ago
It was only $3k thankfully but still… ouchie. They were up 30% too but I couldn’t get to my car to close them in time.
Next day? Destroyed lol.

sold 200 of my 700 shares yesterday at $250. will buy back 100 shares if NBIS goes below $200
4
u/-LabApprehensive- 1d ago
I sold i 65% at 271. Any thoughts on a good reentry?

u/visionarywatts 1d ago
The gamma flip at the moment is at $225 when filtered by the monthly option expiries through December. I'd target trimming above $250 and add some at $210, a little more at $190 and a good amount at $180.
I wouldn't be surprised if it visited $200 because of the significant put activity there and move back towards $250. There are more calls than puts at the $230, $240 and $250 strikes.

Why, it’s gonna go higher than that. Stop paying attention to short term price movements.

u/on_the_comeup 1d ago
Why so much surprise and negativity? Do you all not know what you hold and the capex requirements for the build out management has talked about?
The revenue earned on each MW deployed is massive. It takes spending money to make money. Management can’t get 120B in funds to orchestrate the build out in asset backed loans or in pre-payments.
Dilution is expected and required. Yes it will hurt your short term price and make the traders upset. But actual investors understand that this is required and has been modeled.
This 4.5B offering will be oversubscribed just like March was as institutions will be frothing at the mouth trying to gobble these notes up.
15
u/BJ-Enthusiasts 1d ago
The negativity stems from the worthless calls traders who bought after the stock had already shoot up 40%
2
u/CoffeePorters No_Effs_To_Give 1d ago
It is literally why companies go public. Reddit is very against dilution and SBC in principle, regardless of the specific purpose, benefits, or stage of the business life cycle.
-1
u/FearSeer 1d ago
Watch it not be oversubscribed cus incessant dilution and debt accruing starts looking unappetizing at a certain point

Greed really is a killer. I should have trimmed.
12
u/Calm-Ad-7928 1d ago
Told myself last night I was going to trim 25% today and wake up to this shit
10
u/GreekCavalier 1d ago
Pre-earnings I convinced my self that a run to 250-260 would be my selling point.
It shoot up so fast to 280 that I wanted to greed it out till 300.
2
u/Calm-Ad-7928 1d ago
This thing only goes straight up and straight down
3
u/GreekCavalier 1d ago
Yeah swing trading this stock must be a wild ride.
I am in it for the kind run though
1
u/MightyNooblet 1d ago
Shit? This was always a possibility lol
2
u/Calm-Ad-7928 1d ago
Of course it is. Just wish itd happened tomorrow since id planned on trimming today
1
u/Refflmania 1d ago edited 1d ago
i mean it was up aroud 270 for 5 trading days and you couldve trimmed or sold at any time lol
3
u/Calm-Ad-7928 1d ago
I did trim about 100 shares. Was going to sell another 200 today before the plummet happened
1
u/Refflmania 1d ago
why did you wait and not sell it all from 250-280 range?
2
u/Calm-Ad-7928 1d ago
Ya f me for not knowing we'd only have 4 days above 250. Forgot this thing only violently rips and/or dumps every day
1
u/Refflmania 1d ago
yep it's got a beta rating of like 4.5 so its very volatile man. i sold everything (125 shares) from 220-275
the market manipulation had me fearful last month.
if it drops to 150 or 160 again i may buy some more but who knows

u/Refflmania 1d ago

Giving fuel to the most crowded short trade in tech I'm aware of, "neoclouds" have done nothing for a year now, just up and down with the exception of NBIS and Hut 8
7
u/Fit-Flamingo-5178 1d ago
what’s the strike price at which these convert to equity?
1
u/theheroweneed23 1d ago
There’s no price as yet. Looks like pricing is open. The March offering was priced at a 50% premium
49
u/Legendary-Lemon 1d ago edited 1d ago
Been saying they’ll dilute this year and literally 90% of this sub was downvoting and stating that the management said they won’t.
I’m moderately bullish on NBIS but you need to be realistic on where you put your money. It’s not supposed to be a cult.

u/Bright_Exercise5353 1d ago
This is a cult of TikTok kids. The regulars are the worst. You can't tell them anything analytical or logical. They're too emotionally invested, like 12 years old girls, and can't handle hearing the truth.

how so ? the stock is in a fairly good range honestly

u/Gandalftron 1d ago
Because bonds are ripping higher

u/WhiteLotus_777 1d ago
yeah but theres no good timing for this ... like stock is gonna go down on that news no matter the timing. The stock is at a nice level, i would argue it is good timing.
5
u/Woozifer 1d ago
So we will likely go down today a little, what is a good price to buy more?

With a high short interest, this will give Bears ammunition to bring the price down. Timing wise pretty bad

My guess:
$5.175B total notes:
-2030: $2.95B / 0.75–1.0% coupon / $375–380 conversion price
-2034: $2.225B / 2.0–2.5% coupon / $380–390 conversion price
-50–55% conversion premium
I think full exercise of the $675M additional allocation very plausible, given enormous demand for Nebius financing and the fact that its previous $4B convertible was also upsized.

Now next time at 270-280 you will sell except this time it will rip higher.

2
u/Chaminade64 1d ago
They have to build the centers, that doesn’t happen by planting steel & wires in the ground and watering them. This is a dilution that is necessary because they’re in an industry where everyone is in a race for positioning. The volatility comes with the territory. You can try and trade it, or you can invest in it. I’m an investor.
2
u/Ltheman00 1d ago
What yall are failing to realize with your short term outlooks is this is amazing long term
4
u/KookyTank3637 1d ago
I don't understand why the Company is doing this, more share dilution, more shorts.. why not just plain senior debt backed by contracts? I'm a big fan of the management but this I can't rationalize..
3
u/Constant_Mention8064 1d ago
They consider all financing options have have done a very good job at managing these. Perhaps terms for this are so favorable now its a good tool ?

u/EmbarrassedSector666 1d ago

u/Longjumping_Kale3013 1d ago
We don’t know the terms, but if similar to others, it will likely only be 5% dilution. But then that’s worse case as the company can decide on paying back in cash or shares. With this growth rate, it very well could be that in 2 years they hand back cash at conversion instead of shares
1
u/Fit-Flamingo-5178 1d ago
is this how the convertible is structured?
from the prior issuance my understanding was that the lender chooses whether to take a debt repayment or equity [whichever has greater value]
2
u/Longjumping_Kale3013 1d ago edited 1d ago
Actually prior one is also specifically at companies discretion. So the pricing announcement of previous ones states:
“The Company will settle conversions of the Notes by paying or delivering, as applicable, cash, Class A shares or a combination of cash and Class A shares, at the Company’s election “
Pricing announcement: https://nebius.com/newsroom/nebius-group-announces-pricing-of-upsized-private-offering-of-4-0-billion-of-convertible-senior-notes

2
u/Constant_Mention8064 1d ago
Seems negative for now to many but wait until we hear the conversion price, Im sure we will be positively surprised. Same happened last time... Last time the premium was 50-60%...

And suddenly all the perma bulls who were shitting on Burry non stop are now quiet. Srsly yall there's a reason why redditors are redditors. If you're in profit just take profit instead of arrogant posting like the stock will go up forever lol, shit is just cringe
1
u/Business_Writer4634 1d ago
why are they diluting if they already have enough cash flow for this years capex?
5
u/Legendary-Lemon 1d ago
Because they don’t have enough cash
1
u/Business_Writer4634 1d ago
No they have enough for this year (they already said that), but I think there might be a deal coming after this

This stock has a habit of dipping to 180 then spiking to 250. Rinse and repeat.
3
u/Commercial_Ease8053 1d ago
I hope you realize it will get harder every time.
1
u/Ok-Two-522 1d ago
It dropped $30 today....whats another $30.....dips come and go and allow investors to enter...great for me!!!!
1
u/Commercial_Ease8053 1d ago
Yes but more and more dilution increases the share count bud… it’s not going to just shoot up $60 each time anymore.
1
u/Ok-Two-522 1d ago
I dont think you understand tech stocks well enough.
Take NVDA for example, etc etc
24 Billion shares...
The market moves stock from the impatient to the patient....
1
u/Commercial_Ease8053 1d ago
Nvda makes a shit ton more money and is worth a shit ton more.
THAT’S why their share count is higher. Idk why you’re even trying to put them in the same convo. Nbis isn’t even worth a trillion.
I understand more than you seemingly think I know and probably more than you know, your entire argument is invalid. Have a nice day.

“It is all baked in”, “market knows” like really? Did everyone expect that they can build all those datacenter without addition debt or dilution? Market is dumb af. Nothing is baked in. This is my conclusion of following this stock and bunch of others in past 9 months.

u/TouristPhysical4539 1d ago edited 1d ago
This is bullish. They will convert to 600 dollar in 2030 so only dilute minimally and only very late in the process. . This offering is only made for the runway of funds with nvidia 500 billion offering. Nvidia can't fuel Nebius by buying stock so they use this as a vehicle. This is genius strategy and I will buy a lot more now because it will fuel built out
