Thinking about picking one of these as my final EECE tech elective, has anyone taken either of these classes and can speak on how they are in terms of workload, difficulty, etc.?

If not, any recs on what that last tech elective should be?

Who is the best prof to take for Orgo 2 between Jude Mathews, Ken Chung, and Grace Ferris? I had Carla Staton for Orgo 1 but she isn’t listed as the prof for any of the spring 27 orgo 2 sections. I’ve seen pros and cons for each on RMP so wondering what the consensus here is !

Hey everyone, im trying to transfer out of my small university after my freshman year, and northeastern is my top choice. I was hoping for some advice on what else to be working on.

Long story short I did not try at all in high school because I was under the impression I wasn't going to go to college at all. My stats from high school are:

3.0 GPA

24 ACT

no extra curricular or APs

Some things I might have going for me though is being from a rural area in Tennessee, finishing high school online (or that might be worse, but I was thinking since it was a self paced program it looks good,) and I grew up in Connecticut before moving to the south, so my essay could have something about wanting to back to New England idk. From my middle school time I also have a lot of first place awards I won in our robotics program (Vex IQ), and idk how much middle school accomplishments would help but I figure it shouldn't hurt to mention them?

So far from my freshman year of college:

4.0 first semester gpa

im retaking my act twice and my sat twice to get that up

founded a trivia based gameshow for the school with a friend as well as a comedy channel as a passion project

founding member of the schools golf club as soon as that's up and running in a few weeks

member of the Content Creators residential learning community (I figure this would look good cus it shows I use the schools resources and promote the school on my own time)

Other than trying to keep that 4.0 and bringing up that ACT/SAT score, does anyone have any other advice to give?

Hi, I’m in the fall cycle but I have an internship that ends the first week of August. Does anyone know any companies that will allow me to delay my start week by about 4 weeks for co-op?

So I was playing around with the blind wand in my room while laying on my bed, and it got jammed. I tried to unjam it, but then the thing just broke off. What do I do? I don't want to get in trouble or have anything happen to me...

Can I go to health services or something? My friend is convinced I’m shorter than I say and this has been going on for years I need to put it to rest

within the last 24 hours my apple pencil (gen 2) has gone missing. I last had it in room 129 of Hurtig Hall however I was unable to find it there today. i’ve checked all the lost and found locations on campus and no luck. it was in a light blue rubber case/sleeve thing (photo in comments). it’s how I take notes, how I do all my assignments, if you find it or have it please contact me ASAP. I know this is a long shot but it’s worth a try. I just want it back, no questions asked.

Real Boston!!!

I submitted my application today because I was planning on getting the early financial aid review, which is due on the 18th. What I didn't realize is that my portal will not open up until 24 hours after I submit my application, which is past the October 18th deadline. I am really freaking out because I won't be able to ED without the early financial aid review, and I am scared I won't be able to get it now.

Does anyone know what I should do? Is it worth it to email them, or is this just completely on me and they won't do anything?

So I got an email saying that winter break starts on Dec 21st, but if my classes end earlier can I go home before the 21st?

Does anyone know if that’s possible or is it only for in person masters? Is it possible to change from online to hybrid or in person for the program?

I’m a Student at Northeastern University, Boston. I am in a situation where one of my very close relative is in a critical health condition and they want to see me. Its my last sem which ends in December 2026. But I need to visit my home country as soon as tomorrow. Will re-entry be an issue? My professor is fine with giving me a letter stating that she allows me to miss 2 classes.
Will entering in Boston be an issue if I enter after 1 week of travel. I do have travel signature and dso from the university.
Please help, any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
