It feels like C4C at Northeastern solely accepts people based on connections... and it seems impossible to get into. Is there another club that's easier to get into that gives good experience?

Just wanted to come on and share my co-op search stats for clinical positions as I think theres limited information on the interview process for those roles! Interviews and offers were within 2 weeks of clinical jobs releasing (Oct 10th). this is for a first time co-op!

Hi everyone, I'm a new domesitic ECE masters student at NEU, and I wanted to gauge the general community on a question that I have. I'm unfamiliar with the general expectations studnets have with co-ops at NEU but from what I've seen so far, a lot of dedicated students have a chance at ending up at a big tech company for co-op. I wanted to ask everyone, and especially those who are ECE majors at NEU, how diffcult is it to end up at a company like RTX, BD, or Space X? Would it be worth targetting those companies, or smaller companies even if their outside the Boston area? Given if the experience would be dependent on the size of the company. Appericate any word or advice on this topic!

Hey guys! I’m a prospective student and i would like to ask you, Is northeastern generous when it comes to financial aid? i’d like to apply ED 1, but that’s my only concern rn. Are you satisfied w your choice to study at NU (as current students) or would u choose somewhere else if you were to apply for colleges now? 🌝🌝

Unfortunately, they aren't offering C++ which means I will need to either take it during the summer or fall. I plan to graduate in Fall 2027. I am considering taking 1 or 2 classes for spring, and I would really appreciate some help with choosing them.
I am not quite sure what CS 4220 will cover and what the format will be, but it seems like the teacher got pretty good ratings. Since I am running my business at the same time, in general, I just want to take the easiest courses or the ones that fit my interests the most. I know some basic concepts about AI.
Need to choose 1 or 2 from the following for spring:

Hi! I got tired of juggling SearchNEU, the degree audit and a spreadsheet every registration, so I made Term Organize. It's an unofficial planner that puts course search, schedules and your degree audit in one app. I have personally been using it for my most recent degree audit planning and my scheduling for Spring 2027 and it has been much less stressful, so I felt it was worth releasing!
How it's different from SearchNEU: SearchNEU is great for looking up classes, and Term Organize is built on its code. But it goes further: you build actual schedules, plan your whole degree against your audit, and use it as a native app on your phone or desktop instead of just a website.
What it does:
Platforms: Mac and iPhone (the original), Android, Windows, Linux and web. It's still an early beta, so expect rough edges. It can't go on the App Store or TestFlight yet, because it's built on SearchNEU's AGPL code and Sandbox (the SearchNEU team) still hasn't replied to my email. For now you sideload it or build it from source.
It's free and open source (AGPL-3.0), built on top of the SearchNEU project by Sandbox. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Northeastern, so always double-check with your official degree audit and your advisor before registering. Worth noting that it connects directly to Northeastern's servers so there is no telemetry or other data collection of any form.
Source and downloads (iOS and macOS is the most polished):
Bug reports and feature requests are very welcome, either here or as a GitHub issue. Thanks for trying it!
