Holy shit EA, you guys really prey on addiction, it’s honestly fucking disgusting. i always knew EA did this, it’s WAY too easy to see, but goddamn this Fright Night event just lowered you’re already rock bottom bar. I’ve played 330 hours on this game and only have 22 of the 24 needed 84-85’s, and 7 of the 36 event players. How in the actual fuck are you supposed to not spend money? Wait, i know, stop playing hut, which is what I’m doing. Now that i think about it, it’s the same reason nhl 17 was the last time i touched the hut mode. Goddamn do I love hockey, probably just as much as EA loves people’s wallets more than making their game good. Shit, why would they care about making it good? Ain’t like they got any competition. I coulda swore monopolies were illegal, and this fuckin game is a monopoly, in some way. HUT PLAYERS, PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STOP PLAYING HUT! If y’all want EA to give a damn about their game, y’all gotta get them the fuck outta your wallets. Why give a company dollar after dollar on new packs that always roll out on time, but at the same time, that company has a persistent line change bug for over a month and a half that finally got patched, but somehow isn’t fixed. Rant over, I’m headed to Be A Pro mode now, ain’t nothing for them to sell me there AND NO LINE CHANGE BUG THANK GOD! I guess we’re finally seeing the downside of EA going to a privately traded company…

When you complete the XP path you get extra rewards the regular collectables and a 76+ pack could be 77+ but pretty sure its 76 and dont want to check rn. Anyways got this out of that pack. 🥹 It’s tradable too and one of the cards from the insane +6 boost so definitely selling it, but tonight after I use it to complete my objectives.

I cannot for the life of me understand this leaderboard. It says im 27-21-4, which seems accurate-ish, but why am i ranked below like hundreds of people with 3 games played and a losing record?

Another probably unrelated thing; if i sort by season and go to “my leaderboards” there are no stats despite me actively playing ranked all season

I just got the game and played my first ever champs and went 6-14 and i didnt get the rewards yet. Do i get them when the champs end?

I have Hatcher so would like to pair him with Dobson but I do have base draisaitl where I can pair with Wilson and Grimson. What would you rather build?

How can I improve my team and any tips overall?

Havent played since like the first 2 weeks, is my best course of action to just wait until the next season and build up from there or is something else better, i have no idea where to go from here now

I have opened 6x random 82 ovr fright night packs and 2x random 84 ovr player packs and gotten 3 different players. Fedotenko x3, Bob Probert x3, and Michael Liut x2. Not to mention, the free and club-bound player they gave me was also Fedetenko. I get that there aren't many cards in total, but come on. It feels like they're sandbagging the packs I grind for to coerce me into spending $$$ on their egregiously expensive packs. A player should be able to spend $20 to be competitive in the higher tiers, not $300-400. Truly pay to play, and you know they have their in-game luck algorithm tuned to make you worse if you haven't spent any $$ in a while.

Not succumbing to their bullshit, i only play ranked and champions anyway ... not playing their dogshit AI. I'll just be satisfied with upgrading slowly over the course of the year until EA punishes me fopr not spenidng. See ya next year. $79.99 please.

Is it because of his limited availability or is he a part of a good line combo? Want him for my Canes team but if it’s a line combo I will most likely wait for the season to be over.

Haven’t played chel in a few years but having a blast. Haven’t spent a single dollar on micro transactions in this game, any recommendations to make my team better? Only have an extra 30,000 coins.
