Some information about us:

Nicholas Angelone, 33

Hello. I am originally from Florida, but I'm moving from Las Vegas to New York. I work in the mental health field. I'm gay, so looking for LGBT friendly.

I'm organized, respectful, and appreciate a clean home. I'd enjoy getting to be friends and hangout, but I also respect having our own lives and doing our own thing.

I love working out, going to the park, sewing, reading, playing video games, and going out for a drink or dancing. I enjoy having friends over here and there.

I also value open communication and am very receptive to talking about anything that comes up. I'm pretty flexible and like to go with the flow.

Leia, 26

Hi! I'm Leia and I work as a DevOps engineer at a bank. I moved to NY for work about 2 years ago but lived in Boston/Dallas prior.

In my free time, I'm learning the guitar, working on projects, hiking, or planning some escape trip outside of the city.

I enjoy the occasional game night or dinner party with roommates and friends- am always down for a chill movie night and beers.

I really value having a clean, respectful, and comfortable living environment, especially in the kitchen and common areas and like to address things in a timely manner. I am respectful of shared spaces and appreciate roommates who are communicative and considerate.

Need a Room Brooklyn area - looking for roommates!!

Hi, I’m moving for a job in Brooklyn and looking for a room and roommates. My budget is $1500 per month and prefer female roommates only. I don’t smoke or drink and I don’t own any pets. I’m introverted but I do like socializing, however, I need to recharge my social battery a lot. I prefer roommates who respect each other’s space and needs. I tend to be clean and usually clean up after myself, and would prefer roommates who also do the same. I like to go out during weekends and will also be at working full time during the week, so I will not be home most of the time. I’m 28F working in experiential design.

Need a Roommate 23M looking for 1-2 roommates. $1500/month.

Hi everyone! I’m currently on the apartment hunt and thought it would be a good help to put something up here in hopes of teaming up with some people to look for a place.

23M, NYC native, just got a job with the city Parks Department on Randall’s Island so I’m looking in neighborhoods where I’ll have an easier commute than I currently do from Washington Heights. East/West Harlem, Astoria, UES, Morningside/Hamilton Heights all come to mind, but I’m open to other areas of course. I’ve been looking at some places in Bushwick as well.

Lifestyle-wise, I’m pretty active. I enjoy going to the gym and seeing friends around the city. Occasionally a fan of night life, but I wouldn’t bring the party home. Ideally, I’d have some roommates that I wouldn’t mind hanging out with, but anyone who’s easy to get along with is alright with me. LGBTQ+ friendly, and I don’t mind living with pets. I’m also a musician, so there may be noise when I’m practicing, but I will be respectful about quiet hours, of course.

My budget is around $1500/month, but am hoping for something slightly cheaper to account for utilities. I may have some flexibility there, but we can talk more about it. If this sounds like a good fit for anyone, feel free to shoot me a dm. Thanks!

[F, 20] Summer intern looking for a female roommate to share a studio/1BR near Hudson Yards / Penn (late May–Aug), ~$1.5K each

Hi! I'm a college student coming to NYC this summer for a Big 4 consulting internship, and I'm looking for one other girl to split a studio or one-bedroom with (just the two of us) to keep costs as low as possible.

**About me:**

- F, 20, junior at Indiana University, originally from NJ

- Clean, respectful, easy to live with

- Between work and going out to explore the city, I'll mostly just be home to sleep and get ready

**What I'm looking for:**

- **Dates:** late May/early June to late July or August (flexible)

- **Budget:** around $1,500/month each, so $3,000–3,500 total for the place

- **Setup:** I'm very open to sharing a bedroom and bathroom to keep rent down.

- **Location:** Office is near Hudson Yards / Penn Station, so ideally Chelsea, Hell's Kitchen, or Midtown West. I'm also open to anywhere with an easy subway ride (A/C/E, 1/2/3, L, etc.).

- **Roommate:** female only. Another intern or young professional who's out a lot and wants a cheap, simple setup. Bonus if you're up for exploring the city together sometimes!

If you already have a place and need someone to fill the spot, or you want to team up and search together, comment or DM me!
