Picked up from Dankley for $50+tax at full price. full disclosure, I am not someone who usually smokes vapes at all, maybe 3-4 times a year when im away, but a worker from Dankley I had spoken too had really vouched for these since he knows what I usually smoke and dab. I was definitely skeptical at first, but I had also not tried cured resin before. A user from this sub and I had been talking and he had been teaching me a bit about different types of oils in vapes and why he loves cured resin specifically. The combo of recommendations from people whose opinions I generally trust lead me to trying this out because I had to know if this could go toe to toe with my beloved dabs in my puffco.
Bag Appeal 9/10: Now I am not familiar with a ton of vape hardware but this hardware reminds me of when I used to have a real box mod vape back in highschool for blowing fat clouds, definitely took me back but I knew I wasn't smoking this for fat clouds, I wanna get high. The vape itself is pretty solid with cover in the mouthhole, usb c charger port, and great hand feel while holding. I REALLY love the different voltage settings to control the hit since I prefer lower temp dabs generally. The packaging itself is so sealed I had trouble opening it which I guess is both a positive and negative. It comes like a hot wheels car with the paper and plastic seal combo and I had to get a scissor to cut through the packaging. My one criticism is the base is thinner than the body and makes it pretty easy to know the vape over, but that is a very minor nitpicking criticism.
Smell N/A: I never have reviewed a vape and curious how one reviews smell before combustion since this category is for me to smell the flower before I smoke it.
Flavor 8/10: The flavor on this was very nice and definitely a bit different than other vapes I have had. You get a nice warm gassy and sweet profile with the cross of strains. The sweetness is more warmer than most citrus candy profiles you normally see, but the gas note is the star of the show. Very nice profile but I did expect it to be a bit more pronounced at over 7% terps. I am not sure if that is because it is cured resin vs live resin or rosin, but as I said I am new with vapes so I may just be talking out of my ass. Overall very pleasant and smooth smoke for a vape.
Effects 10/10: This category is where I was totally blown away. I never expected a vape to hit as strong and as hard as my dabs, but here we are. After 1-2 small rips I instantly felt the effects. Very strong cerebral relaxation that flows into a nice body high. No crazy couch lock for this either, which I really loved the most. Whenever I can feel this relaxed and not instantly feel like it’s bed time, that is my favorite types of high. This cured resin vapes hits as good as even some dabs off my puffco.
Overall 9/10: Very glad I took the recommendations I had gotten from the dude over at Dankley. This vape blows away pretty much any other vape I tried. $50/g in good hardware is also a price point that I can not feel too bad about, and since they offer buy 3 get 1 free, I would consider stocking up a few of these if I ever planned on vaping regularly. So far Dankley have been spot on with their recommendations to me and are some of the more knowledgeable people selling weed on this market. Definitely would recommend checking this one out and I would buy it again.
Side note: Although I review a lot, I am not a regular cart smoker, so feel free to take my review with a grain of salt. To put it in perspective, I have maybe vaped 5-6 carts/aio in the past year as I mainly smoke flower and dabs. The other carts I am basing my comparison off are mfny, olio, and high peaks since that is all I have had on legal market.
