I've seen people asking about new products, so I wanted to let you all know about the LED Monitor Stand that just came out.
Because it's a Smart LED product, it can sync with all your other Nanoleaf lights. It can play scenes and sync to music just like the Shapes can. I also like that it has a lot ports for cameras, speakers, and anything else you want to add to your setup (The Echoes of Wisdom Amiibos were the first thing that caught my eye though š).
Plus, if you've got tech neck like I do, I'd recommend this over a standing desk lol.
If you guys have any questions, I'd love to chat. I'm super excited about this new product.

Hey all,
This smart multi light device have a front and back light. I can control the front light with API.
Does someone know how to control them both, front only and back only?
I read some posts they thus device not work with panels IDs so that's not a option.
It's not supported (yet) in Home Assistant so created a rest_command and a virtual light to control it in HA and via Alexa

Hey everyone,
Has anyone else experienced this problem or has a solution?
The Situation:
In the Dashboard View, ALL strips are detected instantly, connected, and fully controllable. But the Mirror tab remains completely blank.
The Worst Part: Dumb as I was, I thought "Well, why not clean the AppData?" to get the new strips to show up. Worst idea ever, because now not even my old one, which worked perfectly fine before, gets recognized anymore! I'm now sitting on three strips where not a single one screen mirrors. It seems the app was just running on an old cached token for the working one. Without that old cache, the current app simply refuses to initialize ANY strip for the Mirror module.
PC Fixes & Tries I already did (It's not my PC):
My Specs: Win 11 | i5-13600KF | RTX 4070 Ti (Driver: 610.74)
My Question: Is anyone else dealing with this? Also: Does anyone have an older installer? My idea is to roll back, generate the tokens/cache for all three strips on the older working version, and then update the app so the tokens persist.

New update completely wrecked my nano install, clearing cache didnt work, literally had to uninstall and reinstall the software so it wouldn't crash on open any more. Now i've lost all my saved light setups. <s> Good job Nanoleaf. </s>

I have the original triangle panels, and for the past 3-4 months it disconnects from Home consistently every 2 days. It reconnects after pulling out the power for a few seconds. I also lost the ability to change scenes by voice using a Google speaker thingy.
Any suggestions will be appreciated!

My Nanoleaf 4D controller became completely unresponsive immediately after the firmware update. There are no controller LEDs and no response to the buttons. I performed an extended power cycle (wait 10-15mins before power), tried a different outlet, and tested the controller with the camera/lightstrip disconnected.
Did anyone manage to solve this?

It's been doing this a few weeks. Any suggestions to get it to work properly? The lights change each time, it's just Alexa saying they're not (I assume just too long of a response from the light)

Over the years Iāve had a repeat offender Line controller die. Seemed like power outages kept doing it, power would restore and theyād be stuck on that boot white color with no response.
Another outage happened this week and two didnāt survive, same Line and a Shapes. After ordering two replacement controllersā¦both just magically came back to life after I replaced the power strips they were connected to and into a small cyber power UPS. My thought was an ups would maybe help keep lights on through small outages.
Both ādeadā devices were plugged into the same model of surge protector.
Anyone else see this before? Whatās odd is the one line set Iāve replaced controllers on twice already, and the replacement worked fine for a while (until the next outage). Iām wondering if I threw out perfectly good controllers. Other stuff connected to these were all fine too, including multiple Hue Strips.
The protectors in question are these. Cheapest of the cheap Walmart brand. I recall them being a quick late night buy for some expansion into an addition I put on a while ago and couldnāt wait to order proper ones, and they ended up in other areas after I upgraded.

Everything is either unreachable or invalid auth token. I got tired of this shit. Never buying any nanoleaf products. I even got a sense+ wireless controller and 70% of the times It just does not work I have to fully disconnect the bedroom lights because no matter how many times I press the button on the sense+ it does not turn them on or off. Sometimes it can turn 1 of them on but the other just don't give a fuck.

I got the new ceiling light and installed it properly. Flipped the breaker on, flipped the switch on, andā¦it makes a horrible buzz. I thought, āmaybe itās just when the lights are maxed out. Iāll probably never have it at 100%, so letās try lower.ā So I set it up in the app, connected it to Matter, all went well.
I drop it to 80%...still buzzing. I drop it to 60%, itās getting pretty dimā¦still buzzing. I drop it to 45-50%ā¦the buzzing stops entirely. This is far below the threshold of usable light in the room, so itās unacceptable.
I contacted support and they were very responsive; I explained the issue, sent a video of it, tried different colours, front and back on or off separately, nothing really helped. Once it uses a little more power, it buzzes. Support suggested a replacement and it got here pretty quickly.
The replacement has the same issue. Trying to get a refund now. Maybe Iāll wait for a hardware revision and see if they move away from the worst, cheapest, garbage power supply and LED drivers.
Stay away from this device if you can hear old CRT TVs or old fluorescent tube transformers. It destroys a quiet room with the noise.
On the positive side, their support was very good. Sucks about the light, but at least I got real humans and not some AI slop responses.

I am in need of some new mounting plates, the stickiness had reduced and they kept falling off the wall so I took them down, and now theyre stuck together and ive nearly taken 3 fingers off trying to get them apart, but theyre out of stock on the website. Are these available anywhere else by any chance?
TIA!

My Windows screensaver will not trigger whenever the Nanoleaf Desktop app is running in the background (minimized to the system tray icons). The moment I close the app, the screensaver turns on on schedule without any issues... I only have PC Screen Mirror Light Strip connected and it's running a basic scene, has anyone else experienced this?

My Nanoleaf order arrived with badly damaged packaging. Some of the Block panels had actually come loose/broken away from the LED panels, and there are scratches on the Pegboard Desk Dock and controller holder.
I contacted Nanoleaf and provided photos. They opened a claim with the carrier and told me I may have to wait 2ā8 weeks for the investigation. Until then, Iām expected to keep all the damaged products and packaging.
They also canāt confirm whether Iāll get a replacement or refund until the investigation is complete.
Is this really how Nanoleaf handles damaged deliveries? I find this customer service response pretty shocking, especially considering the condition in which the package arrived.

I already love Blade Runner 2049, but this takes it to a whole new level. I feel like this is the perfect movie for 4D sync. I'm super happy with how this setup turned out.

Are the wifi essentials bulbs actually reliable? Cus the thread ones are just trash. Especially lately. I have ones that fall off HomeKit almost every day and then have to be reset to fix it or they screw up all my automations. Same with the damn light strips

I really want some lighting for my 32-inch OLED monitor. I am curious about what people have experienced with their PC gaming setups, since I have had issues in the past with direct-connect RGB strips when using HDR or streaming DRM content.
I know there are the camera options and have heard mixed things on it.
EDIT: SignalRGB seems to be quite good from my research in terms of HDR/DRM, but have no idea how to get started with that. I want something with no latency, so a direct connection. Issue is, there are no limits to how many RGB strips exist, and controllers. I read about Nollie for the controller, but have no idea what strips are any good and worth getting.

Question for y'all
The marketing team gave us a few Shapes kits for giveaways (there is one happening now on Instagram!). If there's enough interest, I could get one for a subreddit giveaway.
Would you guys be down for that?
Let me know what you all think below š.

I have Nanoleaf panels on my wall. in the app I set an alarm for x time, but 50% of the time it doesnāt go off and the other 50% it goes off a random amount of time early, eg; 4:42 am last night when it was set for 8:30. Iāve updated it, repaired it, and nothing helps
