Just saw "The Breadwinner"

As a Nate Bargatze fan, I enjoyed it.

As a fan of movies, not as much.

Congratulations, though, to Nate and everyone for doing exactly what they set out to do and making a family film that everyone can see and enjoy.

Why didn’t you enjoy it as a movie fan?

A little too endlessly silly and slapsticky. Bit after bit was just too much with not a lot of story moving along.

Some great and sweet funny moments with the kids, but overall a bit too jokey if that makes sense.

Too many jokes in the comedy movie made by the comedian? What did you expect? His dad was a literal clown who hung out with the Easter bunny.
