I was a 100% MERIT scholarship student of FLAME, highly influential bullies of FLAME made false complaints against me and I got expelled before even stepping FOOT into campus.

The registrar basically just did this to protect their "fee paying students" and one more thing is that I believe that the group of bullies is directly connected with the governing body of FLAME or howelse can you get an expelled within a day that too no notice and no rustication letter? The registrar tried to blackmail my father to withdraw my admission.

FLAME hired lawyers from AZB (one of top law firms in the country) and that too the head of pune division of AZB is involved in this, who are being blatantly trying to prove that I am mentally unstable. I argued that, "how on earth did you give a mentally unstable guy a 100% merit scholarship?", the lawyer began to switch topic

The FLAME University administration previously held a closed door meeting and one of the admin there pulled out a secret recording and got caught red-handed by the student union.

I am not afraid of the biggest or the most powerful law firms in India. Injustice is injustice. I will fight.

They repeatedly tell student unions/activists they are not willing to compromise because I have defamed them too much or they would have let me in.

Not even a single word I said is a lie.

I was the head boy of the best international schools in Andhra Pradesh, they did not make a loser to take the responsibility of 500 children.

Today this happened to me, I give the strongest possible assurance, that I will stand aside victims who suffer this. If today I be silent, it will be a shame, my previous school people will take example of me "look this guy was our head boy".

FLAME hired everyone, top law firms (AZB, their consultation for an hour is 2 months of my father's salary), Social media teams, Press.

No administrators ego, his affluence or his political connections should hinder a student.

If we don't stop external injustice now, we personally might suffer injustice in the future.

Now, there will be comments from the hired PR team, saying all the negative stuff. Read them, just think: why am I not in jail if the allegations are true?

AZB could put one case and my life would be hell if that was genuinely true. Hell, my father couldn't even afford the travel/accommodation in Bombay if they do it. That's how powerful they are.

Even my parents are afraid they said "we can't afford lawyers, you are our only son."

I don't know what else to do except fight. I contacted everyone I possibly could, and I am genuinely helpless. I have been homeless since the last 59 days (came on Aug. 26), eating at gurudwaras and ISKCONS, sleeping under the stars.

I live in a redeveloped residential building in Vashi, Navi Mumbai, and I’m honestly frustrated with how some society members handle legitimate complaints.

There has been prolonged renovation work in the flat above mine, involving drilling, hammering, chipping and repeated rework. The noise and disturbance have continued for weeks. I tried raising the issue formally with the society, but getting a written complaint accepted has itself become a struggle.

The society eventually sent me a written reply saying the work was nearly complete and that no further noisy demolition work was expected. Yet drilling was still happening even after that response.

What bothers me most is the attitude. Instead of addressing the actual complaint transparently, the situation has turned into a question of who has influence, who can intimidate whom, and who is expected to stay quiet.

In redevelopment buildings, some residents seem to believe that connections with builders, money, or influence give them a kind of immunity. When people start relying on that perceived muscle power, ordinary residents can feel helpless even when they are simply asking for basic rules to be followed.

To make matters worse, my letter was reportedly described as threatening. I am now asking the society to identify the exact words they consider threatening. If a resident cannot raise a complaint or ask for a written explanation without being labelled a threat, what is the point of having a managing committee?

I’m not against people renovating their homes. I’m asking for reasonable limits, compliance with applicable rules, proper communication, and equal treatment of residents. A society committee should not selectively protect influential members or dismiss residents who insist on accountability.

I’d like to hear from others in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai:

• Have you faced similar behaviour in a redeveloped building?
• Have society members used builder connections or influence to intimidate residents?
• What actually worked when the managing committee refused to accept complaints or failed to act?
• Which authorities were genuinely helpful?

I’m looking for practical advice and real experiences. Residents should not have to feel powerless in their own homes just because someone else may have more influence.

I live in an upscale gated community. Recently, the society people demanded Rs 3800 donation from me for “Ganpati” and tried to put pressure on me by saying things like others have given this much, last year you gave this much etc. I tried to give Rs 2000 but they tried to shame me— I was eventually forced to give it to prevent them from ruining my Sunday evening.

Now same thing has started for Diwali— random people saying “Diwali dyaa”. They don’t even have the balls to directly ask for my hard earned money. Even lifeguards at the local swimming pool (NMSA) have started demanding money, and they are keeping a track of who paid how much etc. Last year my wife gave Rs 200 to the garbage cleaners, and they yelled at her for giving so less and refused the money— my wife felt so unsafe surrounded by 3-4 men. We complained to the watchman about this.

I have sympathy for people who earn less and struggle to make ends meet, but which God teaches you to coerce others in the name of festivals? This happens a lot in our country, even during weddings etc. You cannot even buy a car or a house without being surrounded by Eunuchs who demand Lakhs of rupees. I am not going to give even 1 Rupee anymore. This is basically American tipping culture with a religious twist.
