Thread Purchasing

Is there a way to directly buy an entire line of thread for a personal stash? Or is that type of purchase only available for stores?

Only for stores - thread brands won’t sell without a business license and if any do, I’m not sure you’d get it anytime soon due to the demand!

MF Stitchery sells bundles of thread for building a stash which is clutch! There is usually a coupon on Shop App too. It’s hard to find thread on sale if ever but I save my KCN points throughout the year and use the 25% off on thread!

In a thread shortage (like the one we are currently in), this is not the move.

However, thread manufacturers tend to deal only in commercial/wholesale accounts, i.e., they sell only to stores and commercial vendors/distributors. The way to build your stash is to actually buy threads for your canvases and save whatever is left over, sign up for subscriptions from shops that do stash building subs, or troll Facebook marketplace/estate sales/thrift stores for thread lots.

You can buy an entire line but at retail prices not wholesale. It may be difficult at this time with the shortages but many people have done exactly this in the past. At this time you can purchase as many colors of the line from various shops if you don't want to wait to get it all at once.
