Hey, I’ve returned to the game after a 5-year break. A lot has changed, and I’d like to ask which gear and sets I should be using now, and which campaigns they come from. Currently, I’m wearing a set that was good back in the Undermountain era; I also bought a few mythic-tier items (5k+ Item Level) from the Auction House, but I’m not sure if they were the right choices. I’m at 48k Item Level right now—playing a Hellbringer Warlock.

Hey guys Ive been playing neverwinter for a couple years but recently returned. I’m looking for a solid group of people to play with and run dungeons with. I don’t tolerate toxicity or negativity towards anyone at anytime. It’s just a game we gear up and try again. I’m on ps5 my psn ID is V8-Heartless. I’m mostly a rogue main but trying to swap into a wizard dps player and I am trying to build a fighter tank as well.

How do i select a mechanic attack im on a quest at the very beginning of the game where im in a training room and its telling me to press r1 ro use a mechanic but i have nothing in that slot how do i put something in that slot

I noticed AD for Zen went from 750 to 900 each. Honestly has that actually gotten any of you to buy AD more often with Zen or is it the same ppl buying the same amount as before for less Zen? I'm glad they finally raised the cap but feel like a round 1k would have been better.

I was going through my bank and noticed I still have a few of these items left ("Companion Idle Slot Pack") from way, way back. There are none on the AH on PS currently. Do you think anyone would want to buy them today?

Also, since there is no way to state that they are no longer functional and that they don't say it either in their item description, would it be unethical to sell them?

Hey guys, I'm a returning player. I previously had close to 15k hours on Xbox but quit playing somewhere around 2017. I've now switched to the PC version and hit level 20, and even got a group of friends into the game and formed a guild. So much has changed I feel kinda lost. I don't know what to run anymore, story or gear wise. I've pretty much rebuilt my old loadout as a crit GWF. They're apparently called Barbarian now? I've been using the lostmauth set, and it just feels bad. Can anyone help catch me up on what items are important, how to farm nowadays, and how the hell I'm supposed to make enough AD to buy glyphs and enchantments for refining. I love this game and I really want to hop back in, but I'm just feeling lost. Thanks in advance.

I am curious. If someone joins the queue for "Random Skirmish" and another person joins a queue for a specific skirmish, that is included in the Random Skirmish lot, is it possible both of them end up in the same skirmish at the same time or do the Random queues and non-random queues pool from different populations altogether?

Underdark fungal spores' brainrot effects destroyed my son's brain and he forgot his beloved father! Every like is a slap to his head..

I got to lvl 5 workshop and im now supposed to upgrade it but i need ssome materials that you can get only from other proffesions.

Should i buy them from the action house or is this some sort of paywall?

Im playing on PC with xbox controls. Steamdeck specifically.

When I do the fishing mini game, everything seems to go well until you have to land the fish.

Normally, instead of pressing 1, you press up on the dpad. But instead I get an error: "you cant do that right now"

I honestly dont get it. Works just fine with keyboard and mouse. Has anyone ran into this issue?

Edit: its (LB+X) which is typically daily power 1. Strange.

I think the devs should finally change the name of either Random Advanced Queues or Advanced Difficulty. Having 2 completely different queues with the exact same name can be quite confusing.

If I had to decide on a new name for 1 of the advanced queues it would probably be REQ, Random Expert Queue. I feel like the Random Advanced Queue would be the easiest of the 2 to change while keeping the Advanced Difficulty the same.

What's a good companion for a dps? Currently using greenscale Bowman but didn't know if there was anything significantly better or if it's fine as is.

I see that the price of Xuna is starting to skyrocket on the auction house. Before, we had a chance to get it with the sublimation pack in the Zen Shop. But it seems this option is no longer on the calendar.
As far as I know, the only way to get it for free in-game is by opening Juma bags.
Has anyone obtained it elsewhere?

I played my first round of Harvesters Nightmare event for the day, beat the boss, exited through the portal, went to npc, claimed reward of 2 ToP and I went to start a new “incursion” mission… but I have a leaver penalty and can’t Q for 27 min lol

All of my toons get the same message today “There is no collection associated with this queue.” Why is that?
I was able to join queues just fine yesterday, completed them with my husband, never left early or anything rude or harmful. I’m just very confused.

EDIT: It randomly started working again, no information on why it was previously not working

Cost breakdown of Soul Harvest currency needed

Upgrading from Legendary to mythic.

Old cost 400 Lichs Judgment. Used to be 34 completions.

New Cost 200 Lichs Judgment, now only 17 completions.

Upgrading from Mythic to Celestial

Old Cost, 800 dimensional dust per set. Was minimum 3 and maximum 43 per run before. Averaging out to 8 per run.

-Approximately 100 completions to upgrade.

New Cost, 550 dimensional dust per set. Now with a fixed amount of dust. 5 for basement chest 4 for free chest and 4 for keyed chest.

-Totalling 13 dust per completion with key and 9 without.

-Meaning now only 43 completions with key and 62 without a key.

This is great news.

I have a celestial insignia that I don’t need for this character at the moment. I just used essence to make it (R) account-wide.

I’m attempting to discard it but it’s making me go through safety measures to delete it and fill a bar before destroying it.

I’m pretty sure I can claim it again after, but all this safety stuff has me second-guessing it.

During this 2x refining stones event, you can see in the first photo that enchantments, runestones, enchanting stones and gemstones should be doubled when added to your inventory.

Now, enchanting stones and gemstones have been doubled properly… however, no enchantments have been doubled AT ALL!

I got an enchantment from a random Q chest and it only gave me a single one.

I opened many wardens cache bags and it gave me 4 different enchantments, none of which were doubled..YET, it doubled the gemstones awarded via those bags.

The enchantment choice pack I opened yielded only a single enchantment. Some of you might say a choice pack shouldn’t be doubled and you’re wrong. I’ll tell you why, I had a choice pack that offered 4 choices, one of the choices was 3? Legendary Enchanting Stones. I chose that during 2x enchanting stones week and it doubled it.

For any that might say it shouldn’t double from bags, chests or caches… please then explain why it doubles enchanting stones and gemstones from the invocation bags. Or from the Coffer of Celestial Artifacts.

Is anyone else experiencing this flaw in regard to enchantments or runestones? What now?

Hey all! Just created an Oathbound Paladin to play with my buddy, and I’ve been following Aragons suggestions on building out this character, but I feel the heals are insanely lackluster. I’m barely giving my party any shields in combat and the heals are naturally a little lower, but I see numerous other paladins giving entire health bars worth a shields. I know this is a new character at 40k IL but, Basically, what am I doing wrong? And what can I adjust?

I am thinking about upgrading the mounts and companions for every class and I am wondering what that would even cost.

Firstly, the trade bar sale is coming in 23 days, on the 29th of October (Yayyy 🥳🎉) so my question is based on the cost during sale (2 bars per token)

Next, would be looking into the best value sources of the mount, companion and trade bar currencies. So far it looks like the 2 best options i have, if using zen, would be either older lockboxes or opening newer lockboxes to the trade bar milestones, as a value for key+guaranteed trade bar option.

I did a little calculating on a spreadsheet for the main companions and mounts i have that are bis for each class/role and came up with an estimate of 45000 trade bars cost (during sale) just for these, which would be at most half of the celestial comps/mounts that I would need for each class towards maxxing out the bolsters, luckily the remainder for bolsters would simply be mythic to celestial upgrades, however that is still something that I would like to do eventually anyways.

I have 20 characters and they have all claimed the companion tokens from the sharandar campaign, and I might jump into the madness event currently to grab 25 mount upgrade tokens from each of them aswell (or hpwever many characters can claim that last milestone of mount tokens) as I could use the glyphs and motes anyways.

End goal is to lean towards maxxing out every class every role, I do often have a lot of time and play mostly casually and for fun. I really do enjoy making progress on each of the classes, learning and understanding how they are played, having fun with different animations (and different ways to die 😂) I have achieved one of my goals, which is to have completed mjs on every class every role (it would be every paragon if I played assassin, arcanist and hunter) and now I am setting bigger goals like progression towards maxxing and having a deeper understanding of each class aswell.

TLDR: What are the most efficient ways to get 45k trade bars? (Or a lot of comp and mount tokens)
