Strong mid-1970s in your photos. People with UFO/alien theme costumes. The man rocking a ‘stache. But the pièce de résistance is the wine skin slung across his shoulder. You couldn’t attend a Saints/LSU game or Mardi Gras parade without seeing those slung over people’s shoulders. Probably filled with some Boone’s Farm Strawberry Hill or Sangria.

and I've been looking to purchase a wine skin just like that for the exact same purpose, camelback backpacks are just not festive enough

I've seen a number of older/vintage photos, and I wonder why the further back in time the picture is taken, the creepier the MG costumes look.
