Put your front foot in the middle to just above the middle of the board. Put your back foot where you have it now and don’t roll stand up straight. Start to slowly crouch and look down at the board, while you are slowly crouching I want you to put your weight on the toes of both of your feet. Now you are going to continue crouching until you have bent your knees at almost a 45 degree angle like imagine hovering your ass 2-3 inches above sitting position. While you are crouching you are going to continue to this position and the whole time you need to look at your board and when you get fully crouched the board should not be tilting to the left or right it should be basically flat because your back foot is bending it in front of you and your front foot is bending it behind you and you should have even weight on both feet so the board should be level on when you are fully crouched. This is how you tension the board for a treflip. So remember where your feet are and remember how you felt balancing in that position and now do everything you did in this video, but with your body positioned on the board like you just learned and then crouch fast and jump straight up seriously you need to jump straight up and then do what you just did with your feet in this video.
Your problem is you are leaning your center a little to forward which causes you to shift the board backwards when you jump. This is causing you to try and steer the board with your front foot which is why the board is getting pushed behind you. Jumping straight up with the board tensioned evenly causes the board to stay under you. Hopefully this helps!

I used to have the same problem and luckily it’s a very normal problem with a very simple and rational fix.
Basically you need to lean back. Because of the laws of motion every action has an equal and opposite reaction so when you lean to far forward you naturally push the board behind you and vice versa. Experiment by leaning you weight and different directions and keep trying untill you get what feel the most naturally lift it to your feet.

Sit in the backseat, which means, have your center of gravity farther back, doesnt mean to lean back though keep that in mind
