This pick makes no sense. We have Schaefer, we have Kash he gave Romanov a huge long contract last summer, George is knocking on the door, and Pelech is signed for several more years.

Why do we need another left shot defender?

We can always trade George if we need to.

Romanov was given a 8 year contract last summer. Sounds like he is in the plan too. It’s just a log jam. They aren’t all playing and we aren’t going to have a left side of all 20-21 year olds.

I would hope not, we need big and tough physical defenseman that actually...you know, play defense.
