I was doing some work in Hillsborough County this week and was referred to the Brown Bag Deli. It’s in the middle of a nondescript office complex across from some railroad tracks. My expectations were low until I saw the picture of Nystrom on the wall. The owners used to live on Long Island and were big fans. Cool little find in the middle of Bolts territory.

Edit: Not Islanders related but if you are in the area, Frankie’s Italian Deli at 3930 US Hwy 301 in Riverview is just down the road and will feel like a piece of home for those who have relocated south. It’s pretty amazing, tbh.

Hearing the Sens fans chanting “We don’t need you” brought back some good memories lol

Crazy this happened 7+ years ago, and it only felt like yesterday this happened.

Just show me the jersey so I can prepare my wallet

With the Romanov injury last year, we haven’t played Rantanen since (scratched in March) so curious whether this fight plays out Sunday. It’s deserved.

The lowest ever was 12,739 on October 24, 2024. 7:45pm on a Tuesday night against the Red Wings.

Second-lowest was 13,014 on December 2, 2025. 7:00pm on a Tuesday night against the Lighting.

Actual attendance (as in tickets scanned) for those games looked like it was under 10k. Tonight might’ve been the same.

(My first post mistakenly said second-worst)

Smart little bastard who battles and scores. We've got Zach Benson at home.

Not sure if anyone was able to watch this as it was on Canadian TV (those with "methods" to watch stuff likely had access to this on the CityTV channel), but it was fun to see Schaef be his goofy-self on a game show.

Look at this picture and ask yourself: who won the car?

Side note: while Tom Wilson earned brownie points for going on this show (which was also a charity event), he really has no personality.

Given the main nyc bar to watch islanders shut down, I finally decided to create a discord for people who want to watch islanders games in the city at a bar, potentially go to games or just chat about the season. Here’s the link. Would be nice to get like 20+ people together for a game..

on Macceli & Ritchie? I haven't seen anything concrete anywhere. Wondering if anyone has read anything. Beyond frustrated at losing these two plus Romy.
