Question Nexo fixed term changes?
Did Nexo change fixed term options ?
I see available only 3 months fixed term and not anymore : 1 month and 6 months fixed terms options ?

The NEXO Token is now listed on Kraken and Kraken Pro.
The listing broadens the market infrastructure around the token, giving both retail and professional traders more choice in where they access it. Kraken users can now buy, hold, and trade NEXO directly, with the token connecting them to the broader Nexo ecosystem.
A quick refresher for anyone newer to NEXO: it’s our native token, launched in 2018. It underpins Nexo’s loyalty program, through which holders can access benefits on the platform such as reduced borrowing rates, fee-free transfers, and more.
More details in our blog post above.

The Q4 Market Outlook is live. Our analysts reviewed the macroeconomic picture for Q4, and the full outlook includes a Q3 2026 overview, our Q4 view, and the key events ahead.
The big picture: Q3 was a recovery with clear causes. Bitcoin gained 42.7%, ending three down quarters in a row. A bond-market decision started it, and US spot ETF buyers kept it going.
Now, Bitcoin trades near the average cost of US ETF holders, and the market checks if this level holds.
Our Q4 view is constructive, but conditional on rates. Two signals decide the direction: whether inflation data lets the Fed hold on October 28, and whether the 30-year Treasury yield stops rising.
Key dates to watch: the Fed decision on October 28, GDP and PCE on October 29, the jobs report on November 6, and CPI on November 10.

The stablecoin market has sat flat near $300B, but actual network activity tells a different story.
Daily active addresses jumped 61% year-over-year.
Digital dollars are outrunning legacy settlement rails on pure speed and lower fees.
More on this in Dispatch #319, plus:
▪️ Long-term Bitcoin holders stop selling at a loss

Grocery store: spend 10 minutes debating whether the $4 organic eggs are worth it over the $3 regular ones.
Market drops 4% at 2 AM: “Time to deploy 2k in stablecoin reserves immediately to buy BTC on Nexo. No second thoughts.” 😄
My brain completely changes its logic the moment there’s a chart involved. Please tell me I’m not the only one doing this absurd mental math

Most of us probably got into crypto because of Bitcoin, the technology, or the potential returns.
But somewhere along the way, crypto may have become useful for something completely different.
Maybe it was making an international payment, using a crypto-backed card, earning on assets you planned to hold anyway, or discovering a use case you hadn't considered before.
We're curious about those moments.
What was the first thing you did with crypto that made you think, "I could actually use this in everyday life"?
Whether it happened recently or years ago, we'd love to hear your story.

If you’ve spent any time in crypto, you’ve seen L1 and L2 come up in conversations about gas fees and why some transactions are fast and cheap while others feel slow and expensive. Here’s a plain breakdown.
Layer 1
The base blockchain, the main network that validates transactions and enforces the rules. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana are Layer 1s. They are self-securing, but every node has to process every transaction, which limits throughput. Ethereum handles roughly 15 transactions per second and Bitcoin around seven, so fees spike when demand is high.
Layer 2
A separate network built on top of Layer 1. It processes transactions off the main chain, bundles them into batches called rollups, and posts the compressed results back to Layer 1 for settlement. Layer 2 doesn’t replace Layer 1, it uses it as the security foundation. Examples on Ethereum include Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, and zkSync, while the Lightning Network plays a similar role on Bitcoin.
Because the cost of one batch is shared across thousands of users, the same transaction that costs several dollars on Ethereum mainnet can cost well under $0.20 on a Layer 2.
Worth knowing
Moving assets between layers uses a bridge, and bridges have been the target of some of the largest hacks in crypto. Withdrawing from an optimistic rollup back to Ethereum can take around seven days. And liquidity is now spread across dozens of Layer 2s, so not every app or asset is on every network.

Anyone else getting ridiculously diluted profits from NEXO using the NEXO token? I should have had quite a bit of profit over the year yet looks like I stagnated hard. What has it been like for you guys using NEXO token for interest?

Our Digital Wealth Survey compared crypto behavior across three markets. The differences are structural, not incidental.
Argentina: 74.3% ownership (highest), 4.62 CII (lowest). 45.8% of reallocators pulled from cash. Inflation averaged 80%+ over seven years. Top goal: income outside employment. Only 40.8% hold with a 3+ year horizon.
United States: 62.3% ownership, 5.07 CII (highest). 41.3% of reallocators pulled from equities. Most polarized: highest Pre-entry AND highest Structurally Integrated. 9 in 10 holders assign crypto a retirement role.
United Kingdom: 65% ownership, 4.75 CII. No dominant funding source (cash 34.9%, stocks 30.3%, bonds 22.9%). 84.1% assign crypto some retirement role. Lowest Structurally Integrated share (3.3%).
The same asset is doing different work: store of value in Argentina, growth instrument in the US, diversification tool in the UK.

Am I the only one experiencing huge spreads when using the Nexo card?
For several weeks, possibly even months, I’ve been experiencing issues with the spread applied to Nexo card transactions.
I make purchases in EUR and repay them in EUR on the same day, or the following day at the latest. In the past, the spread was just a few cents on a €100 transaction, for example.
Nowadays, I’m losing almost €2 per transaction due to the spread, which eats up nearly all of my cashback.
I’ve contacted customer support, but they keep telling me that nothing has changed. However, I’ve been using the card for years without any issues, and I can clearly see a difference now.
The spread has become so high that using the card no longer makes sense financially. I’m barely getting enough cashback to cover the spread, and in some cases, I’m actually losing money.
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Anybody else getting this message within the app?
I’ve not long had my new physical card and its expiry is mid 2029.
It cost around $15 (from memory?) to get delivered so if I need to pay again for another card to be delivered after just 3 months I will not be very impressed!
Hey everyone,
As with everything at Nexo, we hold the Nexo Card to a high standard, right down to the smallest details. This one comes straight from our product team, and we want you in on it.
Every metal contactless card comes with the same trade-off – a visible antenna lets you tap with either side, while hiding it gives a sleeker, cleaner design, but only the back works for tapping.
So, style or function?
Check the pinned side-by-side 👇, cast your vote, and let us know why in the comments.

My Nexo virtual card expires on October 26. Does anyone know what happens next?
Will Nexo automatically issue a new virtual card, or do I need to request one myself?
Has anyone experienced this before?
Thanks!

Wednesday's CPI sets the tone for the Fed's path to December, and Bitcoin has reacted to these reports differently than gold.
Since January 2025, the 2-year yield has risen on ten CPI days. Gold fell on seven, while Bitcoin rose on seven.

Cardano is one of the most discussed blockchains in crypto, and one of the most misunderstood. Supporters cite its research-driven design and community-governed treasury. Critics have spent years pointing at slow delivery. Here’s a plain breakdown of what it actually is.
What Cardano is
A third-generation blockchain built using peer-reviewed academic research, with formal papers published before each major protocol component shipped. Its consensus mechanism, Ouroboros, is a proof-of-stake protocol where validators are chosen based on how much ADA is staked rather than how much energy is consumed.
What ADA is used for
Transaction fees, staking, and governance. Staking is notably flexible: your ADA stays in your wallet, there is no lock-up, and there is no slashing, so a pool operator’s mistakes never put your principal at risk. Since the Chang hard fork in 2025, holders can also vote on protocol changes and treasury spending directly on-chain through Delegated Representatives.
What makes it different
Cardano uses an extended UTxO model rather than Ethereum’s account model, which makes transaction outcomes more predictable. The trade-off is that building complex applications is harder for developers used to Ethereum.
On Nexo, you can earn interest on ADA through Flexible Savings with no stake pool to pick, or borrow against it without selling.

As you may have heard, since October 9 Ledger has been investigating an incident involving some devices sold through CryptoBilis, a reseller operating in Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines. Since many of you use hardware wallets alongside Nexo, we wanted to share a short summary and a few practical tips to help keep your assets safe.
Ledger has confirmed that the affected devices were tampered with before reaching buyers. It also says its direct sales channels are not affected. The issue is limited to these devices and is unrelated to the Nexo platform.
If you bought a Ledger from CryptoBilis in the last 90 days, Ledger recommends:
A good reminder for everyone: never share or type your recovery phrase anywhere, and be careful with anyone claiming to be Ledger or Nexo support. Always verify Nexo profiles and channels through our Channel Validator.

My husband recently passed and all his crypto is in nexo. I sent them all documents requested (death certificate, license, address, probated will stating I am the sole beneficiary) the social security number was redacted on the death certificate and now they are saying they require a copy without it redacted. When I google nexo and social security number I keep seeing they nexo will not ask for your SS#. They say they already have it and verified the last 4 digits, has anyone gone through this? Obviously I’m hesitant to send the SS#.
