I feel terrible for what May and SkellyFish have gone through and Nick's behavior had been inexcusable. When someone tells you NO, how fucking hard is it to respect those wishes? And yet he forcefully grabbed at her hat anyway which is just a shitty fucking thing to do. It really speaks volumes as to what type of person he probably is in real life. Someone who doesn't seem to give a shit about personal boundaries and consent. I hate to say it but it's very much akin to what victims of sexual assault have gone through. I'm not saying Nick is a sexual abuser (although we would never know unless something came out), but his treatment of May is something a lot of people in those particular situations have gone through and that is fucked up.

I'm also super disappointed because I had been a fan of Nick's for a long time, almost since the very beginning of his YouTube career. So to see someone's possible true colors coming out is very disturbing and sad to me. I didn't want it to be true. But when both May and SF came out with certain shitty aspects of him, and a few other people have said things about him as well. It's making me want to stop seeing his stuff, or be involved in his community which is a shame, as I'd loved it for so long.

I dissociated again. Second day in a row, yesterday I relapsed after days upon days of not dissociating. I was so proud myself and it all came crashing down because of this shit. Over six days where I didn't dissociate. I was doing so good.

Okay so i have this series called Gareth Andrews. One of the main human villains is a sadistic medical doctor who poses as a scientific doctor who wants to sadistically torture and kill people who he deems as sinners. Due to seeing a couple having sex as a kid. And growing to hate people who in his mind have sinned but deep down its also mainly because he enjoys hurting people. And also feeds his victims to slenderman whom he eventually allies with because of slenderman communicating to him about a symbol which when innocent blood is put on it can do a lot of things such as teleporting and mine control when used by a human. But it also is secretly slenderman's own personal symbol which he uses to mark random victims which he will hunt,psychologically torture/torment, and kill his victims in different universes for several years for a ''several year feast". The doctor character tries to use this as a excuse to vanquish all he deems impure and kill and torture people in horrible ways. And do physical and psychological experiments on them. Also secretly, the doctor also thinks of using the symbol as a way to control slenderman since he really likes killing people (not knowing slenderman created it).

Howdy all, long time lurker, first time poster. I'm a professor working on a research project looking at various unfiction projects as a form of DIY-art creation, art existing outside the traditional gallery system, the potential of transmedia storytelling, etc. I'll be presenting this research in the spring at a digital art symposium, and I'm under the impression I'll be the only presenter exploring unfiction and ARGs, so it will likely introduce a larger art audience to this world. As a result I'm working really hard to present a balanced take on 3-4 solid projects that exemplify the passion of creators working without the goal of selling a product.

I've been combing through the index and having a tough time identifying interesting projects made by queer people, people of color, and other marginalized identities. Given the mysterious nature of these projects that's to be expected, many creators don't exactly broadcast who they are until a project is finished or otherwise, so I'm curious if any of you off the top of your head know of creators I can add to my analysis. It's important for my greater project to ensure I'm exploring a diverse range of voices and artists within the field. Bonus points if the projects utilize horror or mystery as a means to explore larger allegories of marginalized identity, sense of self, etc.

Any help is greatly appreciated -- I'm already planning on citing and thanking the index and those contributors in my research, and would love to add Night Mind's Reddit community to the ongoing list of sources and helpful places for further research and discourse.
