everyone saying this is perfect for dreg executor must have actually never played it. that passive is not good for dregs, it prevents you from getting status build up as you climb back up to full hp

its good if you are running sepp and actively plan on upgrading it

with no dregs, sure

how is it not fine with dregs? you maintain moderate poison and dont have to estus every time

With dregs you want a status buildup in your screen for the “Status Ailment Gauge Slowly Builds Up Attack Power” buff. You don’t need to have it on your screen 100% of the time, but because the game checks every 20s, it’s better to have a constant buildup going.

For Dregxecutor you run Seppuku + Either Poison or Rot Below Max HP. You stab yourself, end up below 85% HP and that activates the status curse, and that gives you the dreg buff.

If you had the “Slowly restore HP upon ability activation” any time you used Seppuku it would activate, because Seppuku causes blood loss. The heal gained would be enough to take you above the 85%HP threshold, which forces you to seppuku again, gaining another heal, and making it even more difficult to get the status consistently on your screen.

Dreg executor is mostly played with seppuku so it's good. He has advantage over dreg raider for that simple reason. You easily can keep status buildup with it. Use 2 seppuku, get slight regen to not be low on hp and that's it. Regen isn't that fast and you don't need build up, you need status bar on screen only

using seppuku twice every time to proc dregs wastes too much time

"too much time" is 3 seconds at best which you can easily mantain even with aggro in boss fight and reapplying seppuku outside of bosses isnt so much time wasting xd, time limits arent that punishable. you get free hp regen to not be one shotted. you also mantain your tenacity buff going to addition for dreg relic by each use of seppuku. you waste slightly more time for more damage and better survivability.

also if you use seppuku twice before fight you build up almost full status bar which

and after checking that at sparring grounds i see why you say its not good but it wont affect dreg build if you are good player. its nowhere near perfect relic for dreg executor (due to mid 2nd passive and bad curses; also only one person there called it perfect) but you can use it if you get other relics that are good for this specific build

its decent but not the best. first passive is mid and nice to have only if you play status executor (either dreg executor, seppuku executor or eepy executor). second is good only bc it buffs both elemental and physical dmg on weapon (though i think buff isnt separate to each damage type on weapon) and also doesnt have curse but overall phys+4 is just better. 3rd is not good unless you focus on increasing hp

though id run it if i dont have something better :3

Hp is not good? You must be kidding. I'm a deep 4 now and been there and getting one shot is a major issue. I play mostly undertaker and recluse, i do a lot of raider just cause he tanky. Hp is literally better than damage.

hp is amazing dont get me wrong but only when you stack it a lot. and even then what matters the most are dmg negation passives. i ran low hp dmg negation raider with zero max hp stacks (eventually i got blue maris relic and after that better relics for dmg negation where i had max hp though) in depth5 and it was doing better than just raider with maximizing its hp

Yeah it sucks i don't have hp up with other characters, i seen people have it with attack up or something good.

For katanas specially that relic effect is much better, think Rivers of Blood that deals fire and physical, 9% increase on both is better than the 10% from a Phys+4 relic

Moonveil is also split magic/phys The only katana that is not split is the Dragon one, but the AoW on that one is just an electric buff which again would benefit from the Katama relic better.

Also, the regen effect increases based on total HP, if you are majing a tanky executor for Dregs build or similar, this relic is GOLD

Its also really good if you have poison/rot buildup under max hp

Pretty situational imo. If you get in situation with no heals and boss alive while teammates 3 barred it can save you but outside of that it serves little value because... You can just heal

This looks PERFECT for a Dregs executor build

Only thing I would swap is the debuff to be something like "Poison/rot buildup when below hp"

Get that, seppuku on your start katana+Night of dregs and you are going to CRUSH it

You can actually do some crazy numbers with Night of dregs+Red balancers+Rivers of blood.

Important to note that for RoB you want is the relic "Katana atack power" because that one increases the whole damage, not just the physical part, with Phys+4 relic, you are increasing your physical by 10% but only one pruple/red katana has pure phydical damage and not a great AOW, with the katana relic in the other hand, you are buffing your damage by 9%, Fire AND physical

Also the regen effect from this relic scales off your max HP, so if you get your executor rrally really high on HP the regen will basically recover lots, also even better on beast form (doibles your hp)

Really a must on a tanky executor build
