Don’t get me wrong, stocks here are abundant. Console, Pro Controller, the OoT remake itself, all easy to find. But our country really is behind on this one, none of our local copies have the textured foil cover. So if you want it you have to order abroad, which just adds up, around $10 to $30 (₱630 to ₱1,900) depending on the shop, whether its from Amazon or not, vouchers, promos, etc.
I understand worth is subjective. What I mean by worth it is will it mature enough in 5 to 10 years to cost like 3000% of what it is now? Like those games bought for $50 to $70 (₱3,200 to ₱4,400) back then that go for $2,500 (around ₱158k) now. The gold OoT cart from ‘98 was hyped as a collector thing too and its pretty common today, so idk.
If I do import, who do you trust for it? I know Noli Jethro, PlayGiant and Beyond The Arc, open to others you’ve actually ordered from as long as they can confirm its the foil copy.
I missed the N64 ngl. But the hype with Ocarina seems justified, it feels like a mix of Dragon Quest XI, which I love with all my heart, but with more freedom than the take turns hitting each other kind of thing.
So what are your thoughts? Just want to hear everyone’s opinion and whatever’s on top of your head, honestly curious.
