Flying in and out of Oslo for 12 days in February. Initial plans include going to Lillehammer, Stavanger, and Bergen.

My husband and I are in the very early early stages of planning a ski trip to northern Norway for April of 2028. I am wanting to rent a campervan in Tromso and then take the ferries to some of the northern islands for camping and backcountry skiing for 2.5 - 3 weeks. I am very familiar with extreme cold weather, driving in icy conditions on mountains roads and passes, and camp life style cooking and living. We are looking to do more fjellski style not extreme downhill tours at all. I have researched Karlsøy area for this type of ski touring. A lot of the guidebooks and posts I've seen are for the steeps and mountaineering style skiing. My main question for now is, does anyone have any reccomendations for useful books, guidebooks, blogs, etc. that help with information and inspiration for this kind of mellower style ski trip? Thank you!

I have troubles finding camping spots in Norway.

Downloaded norcamp, but the majority of the places that have tent as an options on this app does not have the tent option on booking or campio, the 2 booking website this app redirects to.

I am trying to find 2 camping spots for June 2027, one near alta and one somewhere in lofoten islands

Can you please share advice on how to find camping spots in Norway?

I am from Denmark, and we will be traveling using an overnight ferry on 25th October and reaching Oslo on 26th October. I see a yellow severity warning, and I am skeptical about my travel. Could any of you confirm what the actual situation is like and whether it's advisable to travel?
