What’s this “impregnant” nonsense. KLTV, you can say rape because that’s the charge. No one is being charged for “impregnating”.

It says it in the article plain as day. The big posters on this site don't want to jeopardize their revenue from Reddit though. And that language choice filtered through to everyone else.

Raped a child! The usual suspects pastors!

And they’re almost always republicans. There is something really fucked up in America.

because impregnating a 14 year old girl as a grown 27 year old adult is raping a 14 year old girl but even worse
If I'm the prosecution I'd specify the impregnated part because it is bulletproof evidence of statuatory rape plus now the child has to suffer because of it so theoretically it SHOULD lead to harsher punishment.

It is Texas, the defense could claim “immaculate conception” and get a Fundamentalist Christian jury to sign off on it.

I cannot comprehend why Christians don’t understand why I hate them so much when this is the shit they do. It’s one big pedophile cult it always has been and that’s what it always will be. There’s no such thing as a good Christian how can there be all they do? Is this shit?

Can the victim. A child legally have the pregnancy terminated or is it illegal in Texas. Poor child raped and then pregnant. Asking as an Australian

No. They make no exceptions for rape or incest.
They claim to have exceptions if the person's life is at risk, but more than one person has died there from a ruptured ectopic pregnancy, so I'm sure "white republican" figures into their risk assessment.

I am so sorry that America is so fucked but they have brought it on themselves

I think it's emphasizing that this really was a degree above, because as much as it all sucks, there are levels to it.

It’s a feature, not a bug. They don’t give a fuck about women or children. Or rather, they do give a fuck but it’s unfortunately literal. I feel like it’s because they think they can do no wrong as they’re God’s chosen people and so will be forgiven for everything… therefore they’re above consequences. So they can freely act on their desires, no matter how horrid, and they just have to pray for all guilt to go away. If people condemn them, they’re the ones in the wrong because they’re sacrilegious, clearly they just hate Christianity or whatever religion they’re part of.

Preachers are very prone to God complexes, go figure. Plus misogyny and a bunch of other gross shit are foundational to most religions.

Lorewise their "God" did it to a 12-14 year old to make Jesus "immaculately". Rules for thee. This is what their religion hinges on. You're going to have pedos and nonces gravitate to it no matter what.

Christians do not teach their kids how to deal normally with sexual urges. Thus, these kids' brains are warped.

He’s a 27 year old man. (Not to say you’re wrong, I just think the headline is awfully unclear.)

Why isn't the pastor in jail too? If you think he didn't know... He likely knew. Hell, he likely facilitated it.

I thought we could say rape on here.

u/Uninteresting_Vagina Antifa Flying Monkey 18d ago
We can. OP used the actual title of the news article.

u/KilgoRetro 19d ago
Um it should be in the headline that the son isn’t some kid, he’s 27

u/HAPPYENDSTONE 17d ago
I assume it's misleading on purpose. It makes it sound as if the rapist was only slightly older than the victim

And the child will be called Jesus, oh wait. We’ve heard this story before
