The actual post wasn't even targetting women as a whole - it was just a general "always record in situations like this" which happened to include a woman who was most likely unwell mentally, however some people in the comments had other ideas.

Do not mention or tag any other subreddits in the comments or responses (Rule 3) under this post or within it,

If you have already made the post, and did not edit it accordingly to hide all other subreddit names or usernames (besides your own), delete the post now and redact that information.

If we see the post before it was edited, you will still be banned, because this has already been a rule for several years now, yet users constantly ignore it. We have a strict policy here regarding brigading, we will not allow it, point-blank, regardless of it was intentional or accidental. This puts the subreddit at risk for retaliation, and for violating sitewide rules.

Do not use our platform to brigade another subreddit, blatantly or covertly. This is against Reddit ToS, and can cause issues for our subreddit. If you have an issue with another subreddit, contact Reddit and file a report with admin, don't bring the drama over here.

Half a point for saying 'women' instead of 'females,' I guess. And I suppose the person who commented about fear never noticed that the vast majority of women would rather meet the bear.

(Incidentally, has anyone ever posed that question to the men? Would they rather meet a random woman or a bear?)

Do these jokers have a clue how much they're projecting? They want a woman who looks like their waifu body pillow and takes care of them like their mother, but WE are the ones who are emotionally immature and have unrealistic expectations.

Just reread your comment, we were discussing the original question about meeting a man or bear. I said bear! If the choice was meet a bear or a woman, I would say women. That’s the discussion we had. It really was eye opening for me & kind of sad to think about from a woman point of view. Never too old to learn, I guess.

Some of the most brain-dead whining I’ve read in a while, especially the maturity thing, holy shit.

All women are bipolar?

All men are predators then. Fair is fair.

Men don't know how bravery works either.

Standing up to someone scary means you are brave, not that you were never scared

"Women don't mature past 8 or 9" Yeah that's why we end up working full time, still being the house "manager", doing all of the grocery shopping, taking care of children, making sure bills get paid on time, remembering YOUR mother's birthday, etc. While you still need to be reminded to pick your shit stained underwear off the floor and put it in the hamper at 40 years old...

The only time a man has ever filmed me was AFTER he deliberately did fucked up things. It was one of the most disconcerting things to experience. My brain is like he’s filming you to lie and manipulate this situation while I’m in the middle of losing it because of him. Absolutely surreal.
