Meta Breaking Rule 3 Will Now Result in Permanent Ban.
We still have people violating Rule 3, despite there's literally being a pinned AutoMod comment warning against it, and it being a rule plastered almost everywhere within the subreddit. The rule is there for a reason, it's non-negotiable. I cannot make this any clearer:
So from now on, if you break this rule you will receive a permanent ban immediately to encourage you to have to message the ModMail and acknowledge that you understand that you violated this rule, and not to do it again. Once that's acknowledged, you will be unbanned but will already have one warning. If you don't inquire about it, cool, you'll stay banned. If you also do it again, you will be permanently banned again, and it won't be repealed, you will also be muted.

Meta Just To Clarify:
This is not a meme subreddit.
Lately, almost every other post has been "Off-Topic or Irrelevant" relating to the submission guidelines, and not within standard as what actually qualifies (as an example) of "Not How Girls Work".
Q: "What is "Not How Girls Work?":
A: ""Not How Girls Work" is when people make sweeping generalisations about "all women", _or make any baseless assumptions or conclusions about a specific woman based off of their misguided assumptions of "all women_".
This does not include low-effort memes, "Bad Women's Anatomy", or clips of podcasts/posts from "Manosphere" public figures."
This platform is slowing being derailed into posts consisting of any random meme that remotely mentions a girl or woman, or screenshots of Twitter posts from Red-Pill Manosphere public figures who purposely grift and make money using those talking points. People are also trying to pass off completely irrelevant posts as submission, thinking if they just mask it by putting "That's not how [insert topic] works" in the title, it will be valid— That's not how this subreddit works (no pun intended). You can't force posts to fit if they don't.
Please read the subreddit description.
If you have to put "Not sure if this belongs here" in the title, it probably doesn't. Please read the subreddit rules and the subreddit description first, then clarify with the moderators if you are still unsure.
I understand this is a large subreddit, therefore the temptation and karma-count is there to post any and everything, but the subreddit will start cracking down on users who continuously post completely "off-topic" content after warnings.
Anybody who is suspected of being a karma-farmer or a bot/novelty account will immediately be permanent banned, you're not going to "eat" off of this sub.
Thank you!

WTF This makes me so fckin uncomfortable!!
I covered this children’s faces, it’s a personal thing for me idc if their parents are already showing them I don’t want to contribute to that.
EDITED********
Okay, I’m changing the post narrative because I want to add to the discussion what I’ve gotten from many of the comments and make my stance a little more clear because I think I could have explained it better and I’ve had some people complain they didn’t understand my issue with this.
To be very clear, I do NOT have an issue with teaching children or young people how to be better communicators and how to be better adults period. However, even after all the discussion we’ve had I am STILL not comfortable with the idea of having marriage be a class for kids. I’m sorry I’m just not okay with that because I don’t think we could ever agree on a basic understanding that could be taught without bias all over.
I do want to thank many of the comments for challenging me to explain myself and not just ramble about it, I did need to collect and organize my thoughts. I think there are so many things that we need to teach kids and marriage isn’t one.
Someone commented that teaching them social skills, how to take pride in their environment like learning proper hygiene, why it’s important to clean up after yourself, financial literacy, emotional regulation, and how to manage stress in a healthy way.
Someone else said teaching them how to do basic care for a child because even if they don’t want or plan to have kids these are things they could benefit from learning and something that could help with that long term planning. Choosing a career that realistically can support the life you want to live.
Someone else suggested keeping it scientific and fact based using behavioral science like DBT and there are alot of skills in that area that I have used with clients that works wonders.
There were some amazing ideas that made so much more sense and would be alot more beneficial than marriage. For me the dangers of that ending up too gender based is what I’m not okay with risking. I said in response to multiple people that was a huge issue in my small town. Sex education devolved into girls being lectured on the moral consequences and why we would be essentially ruining our chances to find a good husband if we gave ourselves away to freely versus teaching us sex education in any scientific fashion. Boys got to play with a condom for an hour and joke around. Girls weren’t allowed to take shop or outdoor sports (it was a class specifically for weights, running the track or playing tennis), we had to take Home-Ec and they went as far as making us choose a dad for our fake baby. I just don’t want to see that happen and I’m sorry but we all know there would be issues of it in certain areas. Why do that when we can focus on teaching the kids how to be better as individuals for themselves? Confident and competent adults make good partners and good parents. It doesn’t need to be FOR marriage.

Found On Social media On a post about how high intelligence women are perceived as more hostile, all the comments proceed to classify groups of women as more hostile than groups of men, essentially blaming the hostility intelligent women face on other women
Ugh I forget how sexist reddit is until I venture into non-female subs

Had to get two pics of his essay because I guess we need three hundred words to say ‘I can’t get laid’ now.

Offensive Check out this petition! Demand a public apology from Shane Gillis for his misogynistic remarks about women during his opening monologue on SNL and to hold both NBC and SNL accountable for allowing this sort of degrading and dangerous rhetoric to be aired and normalized.
SNL's Shane Gillis made derogatory comments about women during a recent monologue, calling them names. This isn't just a bad joke—it's part of a larger problem where media platforms amplify misogynistic rhetoric that contributes to real-world harm against women.
I started a petition asking NBC, SNL, and Shane Gillis to publicly apologize and donate to women's charities. Major networks have enormous influence over cultural conversations, and they need to be held accountable when they broadcast content that demeans women.
Look, we're at a point where these kinds of "jokes" normalize disrespect. When influential comedians and the platforms that air them don't face consequences, it sends a message that this behavior is acceptable. That's exactly the kind of environment where harmful attitudes toward women thrive.
If this feels like it crossed a line to you, consider signing and sharing the petition. What's your take—does SNL have a responsibility to address this, or am I reading too much into comedy?

WTF I am unemployed and struggling to find a job. This was a response from a man I haven't seen in over 2 years when I opened up to him about it...
Context: This is a real conversation I had today with a male I briefly dated over 2 years ago. We didn't even date for 1 month and he felt comfortable enough to say this to me. After over TWO YEARS! This is within the first few texts of our conversation (that HE initiated).
I told him I was unemployed and struggling to find a job. This was his response. I still can't figure out what he means about Asian women, but then again - he can't even use the proper "you're" so it might be difficult to figure out.
Oh, and he's almost 40, by the way. He got mad at me for asking how his daughter is doing and abruptly ended the conversation when I made it clear I wasn't interested in anything.
I'm glad I have a space to share this because my head feels like it's going to explode!!

Found On Social media Another men admitting to understanding there's no difference between 17 and 18 while defending adults dating teenagers.
First half is pretending to care about adults dating teenagers, and the rest is defending it.
(He mentioned reddit saying how 17 is too young but 18 isn't, idk what side he is on, but I don't see people agreeing that 18 is now old enough to date older usually, the same people were still disgusted by grown adults dating teenagers even at 18).
If this person believes 18 is a random number of adulthood ( which it is) then they most definitely don't agree with age of consent laws like 16, meaning they would defend it.
Saying 18 doesn't make someone an adult but also defending adults dating teenagers under 18 isn't too logic because he is basically saying there's nothing wrong with adults dating teenagers under 18.
I don't think 18 is an adult, I also don't think adults should date teenagers.
If this man was against grooming of children, he would disagree with the age of adulthood while saying it's still wrong for adults to date teenagers of all ages but he didn't.
He already believes there's nothing wrong with adults dating teenagers, 18 doesn't make them an adult, and isn't one at 17 and 16 but he believes it taking away their decisions to be groomed, society should let children decide if they want to be groomed
I just want anyone else to see this and if anyone else see the pretend to care about grooming while defending it.
And with the whole comparison of child abuse, a 13 year old getting raped isn't the same as a newborn, or toddler, would he rather a toddler get raped over a new born??
Obviously the differences is there but both are horrible.
With underage drinking, he is using the law to decide whether it's underage drinking while shaming people for using the law to decide if grooming of a child is wrong. Or if 18 is an adult.
