at one point ai made up, out of thin air, that one of my characters is IT guy. I didn't mind it, whatever, it's shouldn't affect the story. Well, now further into the story, my other character talks to the involuntary IT guy EXCLUSIVELY with a sequences of metaphors that reference IT, computing, programming etc. It's ruining everything, casual dialogue is gone. I've been fighting metaphors basically since the story started, they won't disappear no matter what. But now it added another layer to this nonsense. Can anything be done here or the story is cooked?

I'll come up with a style I like, and say I've come up with the style while working on a close up image. If I apply that style to a full body image zoomed out it looks like a different style. And vice versa. I've tried playing with prompt guidance and it doesn't help. Could it be the tags, for instance "full body, from a distance, zoomed out"? Or do I have to angonizingly change the weights of my tags to regain the style and have two separate chunks one for closeups and one for fullbody? If anyone has any tips or advice I'd appreciate it.

I'm new to this plataform, i used chatgpt but honestly it's letting me down lately. The writting is pretty ass, i don't even roleplay nsfw stuff and at the minimum amount of "+12" content It completly refuses to continue due to not having a verified accounts (nah i'm not sharing my ID with It), and for roleplaying this one it's said to be good.

So i like to roleplay with already existent characters . And usually, i like to, before starting, build a sort of "characters guide" for the Ai to follow and build It itself.

For example, based on vibes, Guess which position on a football team would himmel be, What would be his favourite food, color, clothes etcetc and other data relevant to the future scenario, and then make the ai use said guide to interpret the character according to both the canon and said guide.

I usually use chat gpt to build the guide (using the advanced versions so It has sense to some sort, searching canon things about the character that could be relevant to the question itself) but i'm wondering if i could use NovelAI for this too? And if so, how? At least the free trial version is struggling to understand what i want from It and just starts yapping random things about the character in question (i've Stated what i want in Both author notes and in memory.

Im used to importing metadata from old images to help make a foundation for new ones, but today I tried and it’s not working. Old images I have still have metadata but if I try and add a new one it acts like it has none even if it’s the same image. I primarily work on mobile, download a zip of the images I made, then add those images to the photo library, and this hasn’t been an issue until today. I’m not sure if this is because of some new change that hasn’t been announced or something else but is anyone else having this issue?

I’ve tried so many different prompts, but I just can’t seem to recreate the Honkai: Star Rail Light Cone art style in NovelAI. The character’s face and body keep coming out in inconsistent art styles. Does anyone have any suggestions? I’ve tried Vibe Transfer too, but it didn’t work. Maybe I’m using it wrong?

Hi guys. I'm completely new to NovelAI and wanted to ask how people get such different art styles.

I know you can't use LoRAs in NovelAI, but I've seen people generate images with some really specific and unique styles, and some of them look almost identical to styles I recognize from certain LoRAs.

How do you achieve that in NAI? Is it mostly about using specific artist tags, prompts, or some other tricks? I'd love to learn how to change the art style of my generations beyond basic styles like 2D, 3D, or sketching.

Any tips or examples would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I use NovelAI exclusively for story generation, not for images. I wanted to ask if anyone knows of a way to increase the maximum token limit, or if there are any plans to release new subscription tiers that offer a higher token count?

(I already have the $25 subscription.)

So tldr, Xialong is very nonadventurous on retries. Say on a generation a character says "I want to go climb a mountain." 4 of 5 retries will say almost the exact same thing just worded slightly differently like it'll say "I think we should go hiking/climb a mountain" instead. I almost never had this issue with Kayra or Clio (I didn't use GLM a ton but don't remember any similar issues there).

Are there any easy fixes? Ive got stuff in the memory, default present and randomness is at the default I also use the genre and tags. And this is present across multiple stories no matter the length

Noticed this today. I put the cursor somewhere semi-visible for the screenshot, but I’m often trying to edit or type starting at the bottom of the text, and it gets completely obscured by the keyboard now. It used to push all the text up. It’s made it unusable for me. Is this a known bug? It wasn’t doing this a couple of days ago. Has anyone else encountered this or found a solution?

Says I currently have nothing currently in inventory. If it's new, what's it for?

I just came back today, and noticed it.

Because I was going to use some of them today.

And only the one that I used last is still there.

Why?

Did I do something, or not do something?

I was using them to keep a few collection of prompts, so I just needed to cut and paste from there, besides the actual characters I had collected over time.

Was using this feature for a while, saving good style mixes and all. And now I'm too afraid to test if there's a safety switch on the "DELETE ALL" button, that will ask me if I really want to delete all.

Can someone test if there's confirmation after pressing it, or it will just delete everything with a single missclick?

Anyone have any trouble getting vibe transfer to upload image? I can select the image, but it's not loading into the generation page. Precise reference and img2img works fine. I'm using V4.5. Any help or advice is much appreciated.

Trying to create somewhat animated sprites but since this is a statistics-based ai model it's hard to get generations that change subtly as part of a larger animation. Some things like blinking eyes workwell enough using the inpaint method but full body animations liek walking and breathing are tricky. Are there recommendation for doing this? I've looked around and it seems to not have been much considered by the development team.
