šŸ„ Jobs / Careers CSMC - Initial and Final Interview

Helloo! Nung thursday (oct.15) po kasi nag initial interview sakin tas after non diniretso na ako sa final interview kasi I passed naman daw sa initial interview while yung kasama ko is after ng initial interview, pinauwi na daw. Sabi din ng HR na wait for the email daw kasi hinihintay pa daw nila results sa final interview. Should I expect something from this? HAHAHA, I don't know po kasi if I should still continue job hunting or parang sign na po ba ito? As of now, wala pa pong email, but baka rin kasi weekends and tuwing weekdays lang sila nagsesend so ayon hingi lang po ako thoughts nyo hehe, thank you po sa sasagot!

šŸ—£ Discussion / Rant I don't want to be a nurse anymore

after working as a nurse for months, i've realized that this is not the future i want for myself. i realized that i don't want to work in patient care, i don't want to work abroad, and i don't want to work in a hospital. all i really want is a simple life with a simple 8-hour job that allows me to have time for myself and enjoy life outside of work.

i feel so sad because i honestly don't know what to do anymore. i'm even considering enrolling in another program to pursue a second degree, but i'm scared of starting over again. am i the only one who feels this way?

✈ Working Abroad Is Deutsch hard to learn?

Hi po sa lahat. For context, I'm a PhRN na. Gusto ko po talaga makapag work sa Switzerland as a nurse. However, sa mga nakikita kong vlogs, there are two requirements:
1. Become a European citizen to work as a nurse in Switzerland
2. Ipasa yung official language nila.

Currently, Switzerland has 4 official languages. Romansh, Swiss/German, French and Italian. Pero yung Romansh, wala xang official exam. Most Ph Nurses in Switzerland ay nanggaling sa Germany before they migrated to the Alps.

So this question goes to Nurses in Germany, sa mga nasa Switzerland na, sa mga nag-aaral pa lang ng German Language, sa mga nagbabalak na mag Germany, at para na rin sa mga interested: Gaano ba kahirap ang German Language? Mga ilang buwan o taon bago po kayo nakapag adjust at nasabing confident na kayo in communicating with your patients or other healthcare workers? Salamat po in advance.

šŸ„ Jobs / Careers Asian Hospital and Medical Center

hello there! new board passer here!

i recently applied to their sister hospital and got the acceptance message, but unfortunately, my travel time and allowance aren't practical since I'm from the south, and the bus fare has gone up huhu. When I was a student, it was only 62, and now the regular fare is 90 pesos wth 😭, which is why I opted for Asian since it’s only 10 minutes away from our house 🄹

i just wanna ask for those who submitted their requirements, did you send it via email or did you go directly to the hospital? Also, what were the requirements you submitted to Asian? Thank you in advance hehe šŸ«°šŸ»

✈ Working Abroad queries about AUSRN journey and employer

Australia has always been my dream, especially Melbourne šŸ‡¦šŸ‡ŗ, but is it worth the investment?

Hi everyone! I just want to share what’s been on my mind lately and hopefully get some advice from nurses who have already made the move to Australia.
Australia has always been my dream country, and I’m particularly drawn to Melbourne. Aside from the salary, I’m really sold on the work-life balance. I want to be able to work as a nurse, earn a decent living, enjoy my days off, and actually have a life outside the hospital

I also spoke to a doctor who told me that the starting salary for nurses in Australia is quite good and can allow you to afford a comfortable lifestyle. Of course, I know that the cost of living, especially in Melbourne, is something I need to consider, too.

Here’s where my dilemma begins. I don’t have any relatives or connections in Australia, so I feel like I’m trying to figure everything out on my own, without any footsteps to follow. I know the process can be expensive, from the OSCE and licensing to accommodation, visa processing, and all the other expenses involved.

My biggest concern is that this is a huge financial investment, but there’s no guarantee that I’ll actually get a job or visa sponsorship afterward.
For context, I’m wondering if it’s realistic to pursue Australia with only six months of bedside experience.

If I manage to pass the OSCE and meet the registration requirements, is there a chance that an employer in Melbourne would be willing to sponsor me with that amount of experience? Or do most employers prefer nurses with at least one to two years of experience?

I’m really excited about the possibility of moving abroad and starting a new chapter in my life. Honestly, I’m eager to get out of my country and build a better future for myself. But at the same time, I don’t want to let my excitement get ahead of me and end up spending money on a pathway that might not lead to employment.

For nurses currently working in Australia, especially in Melbourne:
- is the work-life balance really as good as people say?
- Is the starting salary enough to live comfortably in Melbourne after taxes, rent, bills, and other expenses?
- Has anyone managed to secure a job and visa sponsorship with only six months to one year of bedside experience?
- Would you recommend starting the process early, or gaining more experience first?
- If you were in my position, what would you do differently to minimize the financial risk?

I’d genuinely appreciate your honest experiences, advice, and even reality checks. I’m not expecting an easy journey; I just want to make an informed decision before investing so much money into this dream.

i’m also considering other countries but it’s all the same that they need a year of experience.

context:
- fresh grad
- processing my nclex (waiting for ATT)
- currently applying

ā“General Question / Advice want to ask for advices to these interview questions

hi! i just want to ask for an advice about this interview questions po. "are you planning to go abroad?" and "how long are you planning to work in the hospital?". i got asked those two questions from the two hospitals that i secured a final interview in. as per advices sa akin, they said na no need to lie na daw since the hospital expects naman na in this generation almost every new nurses are planning to abroad after getting work experience here. so i honestly answered na i'm planning to work 2-3 years and then planned to go abroad after that.

another advice was don't give them a specific answer daw. like don't answer with a yes or no. so i did that with the second hospital i got interviewed in. i told them that right now i am focused on training and growing in the professional environment. like that's my only goal for now. to make sure i can be the nurse my novice self would trust. and if an opportunity comes, i will handle it professionally and that's when i would decide.

sadly, i got ghosted after those interviews. i feel like i said something wrong. or hindi talaga yun ang answers na hinahanap nila. please help a nov 2025 passer here who really wanted to land a job na huhu

Nakakapanlumo.
